My husband and I have only been to the Ortonville location a couple of times, each time has been a hassle.
We ordered a med sized antipasto salad with a side of breadsticks. Since I am 8 months pregnant, I requested that the meat be packaged separate. Also, to exclude the black olives and add extra cheese. We also paid for extra ranch. With a side of breadsticks.
My husband had a long day at work and didn't check the bag before heading home. We received a salad with the meat in the salad, black olives on the side, no extra cheese and only one ranch! I called and spoke to the manager on duty and he said he would comp our whole meal. I gave my husband's name and phone number to reserve our replacement meal.
Now, I've worked in the food industry, mistakes happen. And with the apology and replacement meal I was willing to dismiss this mix up. However, I just called to collect our replacement meal and just had to argue with the general manger. Apparently, they just got a new system and have no records of their comp orders. The general manager was willing to replace our salad but NOT our bread sticks, even though the last manager I spoke with said he would replace our WHOLE meal. Since I was unable to eat the salad with the meat mixed in it and my husband had to run to Kroger at 10pm to get ranch for the breadsticks. But the general manager didn't seem to care, and was very rude to me. I literally had to point out that he was about to lose a lifelong customer over $7 breadsticks before he was willing to replace our breadsticks.

Over the last few years it has just continued to go down hill (must be new owners) Orders are always wrong or the food quality is terrible. They have re-delivered to me several times as they have missed items or completely messed up the order. I have been in the food and service industry for 17 years and I normally would understand the occasional problem but the leadership here have no excuses anymore. I usually would not go here but as with most pizza lovers, change is sometimes good. I honestly like Jets pizza so I continue to hope it gets better but disappointment over and over again has led me to cut them off completely. Papa Bella's is far better anyhow if ordering from Ortonville area. Tonight when the delivery guy got here he said "if the order is wrong just call and they will comp you" I asked why would it be wrong? He said all orders have been wrong tonight and my wife called the store already about them being late. I said you are 45 minutes late (1.5 hrs) but my wife is not home and no one called. He said oh it must have been another order on your road, all orders are messed up tonight. My order was missing items and was super dried out. Manager at the store said yeah everything has been wrong we will just comp your account for the price of the food for a future order. Read moreLast Friday (1/12/18) I had one of the worst experiences ever at this Jet’s!!! I ordered my pizzas over the phone like normal & was told 20-25 minutes (no big deal). I went to go pick up my order & to my astonishment, they LOST my order!!! They looked under my name & telephone and could not find it!! I was then accused of calling another Jet’s. I was livid!!!!!! I figured I better still place my order and was told it would be another 10-15 minutes to wait!!! (remember, the roads were not good so where else were we going to go?). When I went back in to get my order, I asked to speak to the manager ( I was still pretty HOT). The manager came out. I explained the situation & he asked me if I knew the name of the guy who took my order. I didn’t have his name (why would I have his name, I never had a problem) & was again accused of calling another Jet’s. So I went out to my car & called the other Jet’s as the manager said that if it was their mistake, he would take care of it. I walked back in & had to wait for someone to even come to the counter. I guess the assistant manager came out to give me my order, which she went over & was correct. But there was no other compensation!! Really?!?
