when we first moved to to ortonville,we started going there for pizza's.we like to frequent local business,so we would go as often as we could.but,living 5 miles in the opposite direction,it was hard to get over that way and we found it easier to go to a chain pizza place that was on the way home.well,after a couple of years,their pizza started tasting like cardboard,so we started going BACK to papa bella's.we decided it is well worth the extra miles to go out of our way for their pizza.they know who i am when we order,and always make sure my order is correct.pizza is the best around here,prices are reasonable and the staff are always friendly.please go visit mark and joe at papa bella's and you wont be...

In all there years in biz we have never been disappointed! We have family in Oh and Fla that insist on having Bellas pizza when there in town! Bellas has the BEST Round pizzas our family has ever had! Cheese dip, salads and subs are better then any other in the land! unless you into skimpy chain pizzas that are ready in 10 mins Bellas is the best by far! Got a deep dish supreme, and thin crust Hawaiian. Not good at all. Friend of mine recommended this place to me for years, finally tried it. He says since the owner passed away the food isnt as tasty. I agree. The bacon was overcooked and tasted like super hard almost burnt bacon. The sauce literally tasted like tomato paste. A good sauce for me has paste and canned tomatoes with herbs, seasoning, etc. This had to be 90% just tomato paste. The price was fine and the pizza was big, but the flavor was not good.
