My family and I visit this local spot fairly regularly. On our most recent visit—the first since they reduced their menu and made some changes—I was disappointed to see the breakfast burger was gone, with no option to add an egg. I’m also not a fan of the sweet bacon. That said, the food was still good overall. I enjoyed my burger, and my wife’s chislic was excellent. The new fries are an improvement; the old ones always seemed too greasy. One downside was the portion size of the cheese curds. I did a rough count and figured they come out to about 55 cents each, which felt a bit steep. The service was decent, and we continue to enjoy the atmosphere. It’s family-friendly, and our kids love the pinball machine and darts. We do miss the pool table—it didn’t fit perfectly in the space, but it added to the experience. It’s unfortunate they couldn’t find a way to keep it. If I had one wish, it’d be to replace the gambling room with something else, but I get that it’s likely a solid source of passive income for the business.

A friend of the wife and I, lives in the area and recommended this place for our Tuesday night meet up. It's in a small town. Place was packed when we went. No real complaints so it'll be a short and sweet review. Food was average bar food, nothing bad, nothing that knocked my socks off. Service was average. No complaints. Drinks were ok. Again, nothing to complain or praise. Just your complete average experience.

My wife and I decided to try this bar/food joint out late tonight after a long day at work. What we found should be an embarrassment to the new owners. We wait 5 to 10 minutes for someone to come and wait on us at the bar after we got there. Two of the waitresses were clearing a single table and even saw us sitting at the bar waiting to be waited on. Nothing happened until a young kid whom was the on-duty bartender walked out and finally waited on us. My wife ordered a Gin and Tonic that was very heavy in the gin to the point that she couldn’t drink it. When the bartender finally asked us for our food order, he put my wife’s order in wrong. And when the food arrived she pointed it out and he took it back to the kitchen to be redone. Not even three minutes later, the buffalo chicken sandwich was re-delivered. The sandwich wasn’t even remade, the cooks didn’t even attempt to hide it. The cheese was exactly the same as before and they even left the bacon from the original sandwich. The chicken itself was very much over cooked and wasn’t even eaten. The only thing that was edible from my wife’s meal was the cottage cheese. I ordered the hamburger and tator tots, the tots was done fine, however the hamburger had absolutely no taste and honestly tasted like card board and seemed to be very hurriedly prepared.

I cannot recommend this location to anyone from outside our area let alone the local population here in Brandon from eating here. It is an embarrassment to the local community. We get better food from McDonald’s.

Recommend that the owners figure out how their waiting and bar staff should be working and not playing around when they should be waiting on customers. The bartenders need to be paying attention to all of their customers and not just one or two people.

The cooking staff needs to take more pride in the food that they are preparing and serving. What was served to my wife and I tonight was just pitiful.

The owners need to figure out how to take pride into their...
