Quite disappointed by my experience on Sunday. We wanted to go out for my husband's birthday. I called to see if we needed a reservation and the person who answered the phone laughed at me and said there would be plenty of room. Then we show up and it does wind up being quite busy with not enough waitresses to cover. The service was really slow. At one point, our waitress had at least an 8 top, a 4 top, two 5 tops, and a 2top. she also complained about drinks not coming up from the bar. I ordered prime rib and was told they'd have to check and see if they had any. This was at 6pm. she said they had a really small piece left. I said nevermind just give me a ribeye. The food finally came out 45 minutes later and my steak was overcooked. I sent it back and it came out completely raw in the middle. I sent it back again and it was cooked okay the third time. However, none of our steaks we're seasoned at all. Waitress said sorry the cook is new. She took an iced tea and a coffee off of our meal. She tried hard to make all the mistakes as right as she could. But I never saw a manager and the hostess at the front didn't seem to care when I said we didn't have a great experience. Next time I'll pick up steaks from the grocery store and stay home. A steakhouse should know how to...
Read moreMy wife, her sister, my brother-in-law and I just finished dining here tonight. First of all, I have to say that it is a very established place that has been here since 1978. My wife's sister had the Chopped Sirloin plate with a baked potato; cooked just the way she likes it and still juicy and flavorful. My brother in law had the pan fried Walleye plate, also with a baked potato. The Walleye was well cooked with a light batter and no bones. Very delicious. My wife had the bountiful Seafood platter with a cod fillet, scallops, shrimp. All fried just right. I had the 14 oz Ribeye Steak cooked medium well just like I like it. Very tender, plenty of flavor and marbling. I'll have to eat that next time. "It's that good". We all had the baked potato and the free salad bar that comes with the dinner plates. The fresh bread brought to the table was homemade, hot, and fresh. By the way, the fresh cut salad bar and a potato are included with dinner. The service is very pleasant and friendly catering to our every need.

Read moreSteakhouse only had 2 steaks on the large menu. After we ordered Food came out quick. The salad was iceberg lettuce with a bit of shredded carrots added. It came with the dressing on the side, a plus for me, and a package of crackers. Next came the main course we ordered for lunch. The main dish, the steak, was on a separate plate from the side dishes. Steak was cooked to order, but bland. It had no seasoning I could taste. After shaking on some salt it tasted good. It did have about 4 bits of gristle. The side I choose was the mash potato, they were luke warm and drowned in gravy. It also came with carrots, they were mushy and I feel like they came from a can. My husband had the o'Brian potatos and those were very good. The meal also came with 2 buns, one for each of us, they were good. Overall it was okay for the price you pay, with 2 sodas it was just over $30 something. Other people at the restaurant were eating sandwiches and salads with a few eating the porkchop special. If you want a fast low priced meal good...
