Krystal — Restaurant in Brandon

I was so looking forward to having a Krystal burger as there are no locations where I live. Was first disappointed when the Krystal location in Meridian, MS (where I was visiting) was closed permanently. I had previously visited the Krystal location in Brandon, MS last year on my way to the Jackson, MS airport to return home. Figured I’d do the same this year. Ordered 2 double bacon Krystal burgers “plain”. For some reason, my order was confusing. I repeated more than once that I only wanted bacon and cheese. Store was not busy. Took an inordinate amount of time to get my order. Not a big deal. Check my order and it looked correct. Took a bite and immediately had to spit it out. Cold is an understatement. Also, it looked and tasted like mustard had been scraped off. I had a flight to catch and politely asked for a refund. The cashier apologized and seemed ready to oblige. The cashier notified the person working the grill (who I assume was the supervisor). I informed that the burger was cold and not plain as I had requested. The supervisor said “we don’t know how to do refunds”. She then shouted at me that the burgers weren’t cold - they just came off the grill. I offered for her to feel the burgers and look at them - they were grey. She said that the only thing she could do was remake the order in a “take it or leave it” tone. I could tell by the reactions of the other employees that she is a confrontational type. I really wasn’t in the mood to get into it with a fast food worker and focused on ensuring my food was made correctly. I saw her scrape of onions on my burgers - not a big deal. What IS a big deal? Having to deal with this type of disrespect when there are so many other choices out there. This “supervisor” needs some serious retraining or this location will close too. I’ll be back next year and will be surprised if this location...

Good 3-egg breakfast; POOR Service: My wife and I ate here about a week ago for breakfast and it was Good. I went back this morning and it was NOT. I went inside to order and eat. Not busy! Two ladies at the counter - Manager and staff were really having a good time with them and didn't even acknowledge that I came in. After they finally finished VISITING, a worker from the back cooking area asked me what I wanted. I placed my order verbally, she didn't put it into the computer. Another older lady came to the counter and said she had been in the drive thru but thought it might be quicker inside - same result as me - IGNORED! She waited a long time for 2 Chiks and had some problem paying in Cash to boot. When they asked me to pay, I used a Debit card - NO Receipt, said they were out of Paper. Served my tray - Had to ask for my Coffee and then asked twice for Creamer. As I ate, they all got into a Loud Argument among themselves related to orders, money and who does what. The lady Manager went outside and came back in a couple of times - she was just as loud and carrying one as any of the others. NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL! I doubt I'll come back to this Krystal again. They don't seem to appreciate the customer or have any concept of running a good...

Absolute worst Krystal’s franchise I’ve ever dealt with in both customer service and food quality. We came through the drive through today, at approximately 2:10 PM. Our order was simple, 2 #1 combos, no cheese and mustard only, upsized. The employee taking orders at the drive through responded (while having another conversation with the speaker on) “so you want cheese and large fries ‘cause you gone have to make yo mind up and tell me”. My husband politely repeated the order as written above. She told us to pull forward. She handed over the food, while biting her nails, and we asked for ketchup. That request was followed by an eye roll and huff and she finally handed us three packets of ketchup. We left, got down the road, and sorted our food only to find that we received 1 medium cheese Krystal combo with only the drink upsized and 1 large cheese Krystal combo with cheese only.
