I’ve been a long time customer of MANY locations since they opened the first restaurant in Indianola over a decade ago. I called in to the Brandon location tonight and was immediately put on hold. They close at 9, and it was 8:20. 10 minutes later I decided to come down here, thinking it was busy and the girl had just not had a chance to pick the phone back up. No worries, I thought, I’m right down the road… I pull up and there are no cars in the parking lot and one single customer inside. Everything was clean, people were sweeping and wiping counters down, and it hit me just what was happening.
This local restaurant chain has always been my favorite pizza. Even when I lived in California, I dreamed of the Cujo. It’s such a huge disappointment to see how little people actually care about the customer now compared to the way it used to be.
If you’ve never been to Lost Dog (Lost Pizza now) you should still come. The food is 10 star. This experience...
Read moreWe arrived with 15 people on a Monday night.(09/09/24) We didn't know it was trivia night there, so there was only a table for 4 left open. As soon as we walked in the female employee quickly closed off the private dining room. When one of our adults asked where we could all sit( teenagers and adults) she pointed to the very small bar area. When we walked through the saloon style doors we found just enough seating for the 15 of us but several tables had not been bussed or cleaned. When our same adult politely inquired with the employee what we should do about there not being enough clean table tops she informed us we could just sit at the dirty tables with other people's dirty plates and left over food. We bussed the tables and piled all of their dirty dishes and trash onto the end of the bar and, therefore, ran off their three men drinking at the bar. Absolutely...
Read moreI have been a fan of Lost Pizza since the day they came to Brandon, and when you can get anyone to actually answer the phone and take a takeout order, it’s still the best pizza around (if they get the order right). However, there is ZERO leadership and it’s basically run by high schoolers who will NOT answer the phone. If I call after 7 pm, there will be busy signals every call (and I place a minimum of 5). If this is the fault of the company at large then you have a bigger problem but I don’t think it is. Pizza is great when you can get it. Phone ordering and online ordering at this pint are non-existent. I have since started driving 20 min out of the way to soul-shine for pizza on the weekends and will send my money to pizza shack when it opens. Lost pizza in Brandon is a...
