Waffle House — Restaurant in Brandon

Update from last disappointing visit 7/10/2023.. Well, today was no different. I went in at 2:37pm. ( I know the time bec I had a video conference to listen in on at 2:45 pm). I get the same order when I come in. All Star Breakfast: My order goes as follows: (Eggs) scrambled/chz, (meat) bacon (toast), raisin bread (waffle) classic and hash browns with a coke. As I sat there, I realized it was only two employees, the cook and the waitress. There were 3 table tops, one being the counter and then myself made 4. When my order arrived, I received, (Eggs) no cheese. (Bread) plain. (Waffle) burnt. (Meat) No where to be found. When she returned, I made her aware of the mistake. When she took the plate away, she took my fork with it. So I sat there looking at my waffle getting cold bec i had no fork to eat it. Since I couldn't eat, I continued to look around. Then I witnessed the cook slide my eggs off the plate and back into the pan and added cheese. Unfortunately, the disappointment was outweighed by my hunger, so yes, I accepted it. When she finally returned with my plate that sat at the cooks station for a min as she walked past it twice. It was still missing the (meat). And the coke never came as well. I got her attention and asked about the soda and bacon. I mumbled as she offered another excuse. "What an experience today." She returned with the excuse of being short-handed. I would be willing to accept that as an excuse, if it wasn't for the fact that she was the same waitess on...

I’m a frequent flyer at the Waffle House. I ordered the same thing I always order and they put sausage instead of bacon. I told them I don’t eat sausage because I don’t like the taste. The waitress who is AWESOME in my opinion took it back and said they were going to remake the food. Well they brought it back to me and I started eating. Little did they realize my food tasted like sausage AND I found a couple pieces they forgot to pick out. I didn’t complain because I like eating here BUT I always tip well normally $10.00 even if I only spent $12.00. The last thing they should have done was try to disguise my plate as new food. If they would have said do you mind if we just pick the sausage out it wouldn’t have been an issue. What makes it worse is the District manager is working “Lathan”. Would he allow this to happen? Or what about the new manager “August”? Today I left a smaller tip because I’m very disappointed in how they handled it. I won’t be back and I’ll make sure that I take my business to the Waffle House on causeway. I tried this Waffle House before and it was horrible. My wife and I went there to eat dinner and the waitress at the time her name was Kim was more concerned about her friends or brother and his family and when her boyfriend came in it was more about him and the two kids as well and we did get our food we had to switch the plates around coffee was just like drinking colored water there was enough space on my plate to place the 2 pieces of sausage on the plate plus I had the scrambled eggs with the all Star meal and I've gotten more eggs and ham for the toast at other waffle House plus she didn't bring butter or maple syrup for the waffles till we were ready to leave and she didn't bring them with her she asked if we wanted it and said no just gonna go home and eat there since we don't have to wait for the butter and maple syrup so needless to say her friends/family get better service than the customer don't know how long we would have to wait to order if the grill person didn't ask if we were ready to order so we ain't going back to the waffle House in...
