I don't give out five stars very lightly. There has to be a lot of good things at a restaurant for me to give it so it's five stars. From the time we walked in to the time we left those people including the owners and all the staff were concerned with giving good service. Most Asian restaurants I've been to the management is not that friendly and sometimes the wait staff is not very friendly but not here at Nine East Hibachi & Asian Kitchen the staff was friendly the manager and the owner were attentive. Language was not a problem they were able to explain the dinners accurately. I have to tell you my dad completely enjoyed the wonton soup and he's had wonton soup from many different Chinese restaurants and he also enjoyed the General Tso's chicken and he said about both that this was the best wonton soup and best General Tso's chicken he's ever had. Now I'll tell you that I'm quite picky about my Thai food and I was very happy with my red Chicken curry. They didn't overdo the coconut milk they didn't make it too hot and spicy but just enough. It was quite flavorful and the chicken was cooked to Perfection tender juicy white meat. Now it seems like they serve jasmine rice with it would be nice to have basmati rice with the meals it's my favorite but the jasmine rice was pretty good and there was plenty of sauce. the service was so good she came out almost instantly with the wonton soup and then just about when he was done with the wonton soup the dinners came and we were very happy because we were hungry after a full day of on an outing.
It's quite easy to find if your navigation doesn't get Frozen like mine did. The restaurant was quite clean. There were no bad smells anywhere. Including the restrooms.
Our dinners were $16 each there are higher-priced meals ours were 2 of the lower priced meals. The portion size was very good.
I guarantee you will not be disappointed if you go there this restaurant is not going anywhere during the pandemic and after the pandemic you will probably need to make a reservation.. this is a great restaurant choice for people that like different types of Asian food. Hats off to them for being able to do more than oneb type of Asian food and to do it all well. I will definitely tell my friends about this place and I will definitely be back! I hope you get to enjoy this delicious...
Read moreI've been coming to 9 east for a while now and it's always been fun and exciting with great food but tonight was most likely my last night. We had a party of 18 for a birthday Tonight. While I understand that big a party can be stressful on wait staff it doesn't excuse the behavior and demeanor of our servers tonight. Before I even got to the restaurant I was called about my reservation for 18 to confirm the head count. Fine I get that. The first thing that rubbed me the wrong way was the woman's condescending tone on the phone telling me I better have an accurate head count because they have another party that needs to sit at 730. Few words were exchanged then about how that's not my party's responsibility etc etc. We get to the restaurant I let them know it's a party of 16 two people dropped last minute (we all have those friends) I'm very sorry. Over Half our party gets there the remaining 5 got stuck in traffic. Every 5 mins the waitress berated us over where they were and how long it would he. Reservation was 6 they showed 15 mins late. At this point the waitresses had become rude and condescending. When one of my buddies who ran late is asked to order a drink (barely even sat in his seat) he says ok one second to take a look the waitress snapped at him and goes "excuse me you order a drink now" this stuns the entire party. We order drinks and took us about 20 mins to receive them because the waitress forgot we ordered them. The remainder of the evening the 2 waitresses were snippy and rude to majority of the party there. As our chef now is asking how everyone steak is cooked and gets to my friend who doesn't hear him and proceeded to shove the paper in his hand in my friends face waving to get his attention. One of the most unprofessional things I've ever seen. By the time we left 3/4 of our party of 16 was ticked off by the service majority stating they've never been treated like that before here. I will say this after voicing our displeasure to the manager our meal was comped. I think 9 east needs to seriously retrain some of their staff in...
Read moreI had the worst experience I have ever had at any sushi restaurant was right here! I ordered my food over the phone for to go when I arrive to pick up my food they had given it to someone else. So I had to wait for them to make my food again. While waiting for the food the manager came over to tell me the person that took my order was coming back with my order so I could take that one and that they wouldn't have to make me new food. I told them I still wanted new food that hadn't been taken by anyone else. When I got my food that they re made for me I looked at it briefly and saw that they had given me sushi with what looked like no rice, which when I ordered the sushi I asked for extra rice. the manager just kept explaining to me that it was ok because they didn't charge me for the extra rice that I had originally asked for so it was ok. I took it home and really saw that the sushi in fact actually had absolutely no rice on it at all, when I called the restaurant they said that they did it because they didn't want us to wait longer for the food because they had to make it over again because they had given it away. Which at this point I drove back to the restaurant and dropped off the sushi and got a refund for the disgusting excuses and more than disappointing sushi that was given to me and my family. I strongly encourage everyone to not go to the restaurant especially...
