Gourmet Wok — Restaurant in Branford

The food is good, but it’s pricey and for some reason every time I go in, the owner is very stand offish towards me. I see everyone else has had a pleasant experience, but I don’t receive the same treatment. I pay a lot of money for the food, in my opinion the least the owner can do is be friendly. The lady who works there is very nice though and makes me feel comfortable ordering food. I’ve only gone back because the food is delicious, but aside from that I don’t think I will visit again. I've been coming here for years and used to rate this place 4 and 5 stars. I just had the displeasure of purchasing an order of General Tso's Chicken. The chicken HAD TO BE OLD SOUP/STEW FOWL. Clean! Gourmet Wok is incredibly, unbelievably clean considering the standards to which we hold most Chinese restaurants.
