Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Braselton

My son was employed by Sonic at 7425 Spout Springs Road Braselton GA for only a couple of weeks. Let me start off with he has Aspergers Syndrome which is on the Autism spectrum and I don't believe he was given a proper opportunity to prove himself and the way he was fired was very cowardly. While still being trained when he would try to make an order someone would take it away from him and make it. I do realize that it's fast food but how can someone learn to do anything if every time they try someone takes over/pushes them out of the way. Every time he would try to do any cleaning they would tell him that they would do it because he didn't know how. Again if someone there had given him a chance and actually tried to teach him anything he might have been able to learn. As for the way he was fired no one told him they just didn't schedule him any hours. I find this very cowardly. He had to go up there to find out what was going on just to find out he was fired. Someone should have told him the last day he worked or called him or ANYTHING would have been better than not telling him at all. I don't recommend working there. Especially if you have a disability. Only gave it 1 star because no stars...

The young men working here will undoubtedly kill this business. I ordered drive through last night btw 8 and 9. I had not been to a Sonic in.a long time and I don't eat much fast food so itnis a cheat/treat. The gentleman taking the orders only response was "what else". The tone of the whole process made it appear that I was bothering him. Got up front and a younger man w died blonde hair is walking out to one of the vehicles at the drive ups and says out loud in front of 3 waiting cars, "what the f××k?" Glad no one seemed to have youngsters w them. The young lady w the dark brown hair that delivered my food was neat and polite. (she was the ray of hope) Burger was so greasy! I cook as a hobby and this was cooked in standing grease on a griddle that had not been cleaned or scraped often enough throughout the day. In a world of options, service related businesses must do better than this to thrive. Not sure if the owner or franchisee reads their reviews, but if you do, go back to your staff schedule on June 9th and find some new...

NO GLOVES! The one time I want a cherry limeade….. I go through the drive-thru. I was greeted by someone named Joel. I made it to the window and the person wasn’t wearing gloves which made sense since he was grabbed my card to charge me. Until I see the same guy without gloves start making my drink. Health code violation one, he uses my cup to scoop the ice in. Then he reaches into the cherry bin grabs it with his bare hands and drops it into the cup then squeezes the limes. I’m watching in awe. He hands me my drink. I ask if he dropped the cherry in with his bare hands. His response was “I wash my hands every 20 minutes.” I began to stumble over my words because I was astonished that that really came out of his mouth. He asks if I’m a germ-a-phobe. I didn’t know what else to say but yes. He apologizes and remakes my drink the same way except with gloves and still scooping the ice with the cup.
