Waffle House — Restaurant in Braselton

While they were friendly.. it felt like the tables had not been cleaned properly. There was only one table seated other than us. The floors were greasy at the area were we sat, and so was our food.. I used napkins to sop up the extra grease on my plate... in the end, I just couldn't eat it. I've never had this problem before(not that I go a lot), so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. When we came in, the line cook came out to get our order, then went over to play on her phone that was charging near the window for what seemed about 5 minutes and turned on a podcast or YouTube program.. in the meantime, the actual waitress came over and asked our order, so we had to say what we wanted again since the cook who had already taken it was still on the phone... then the cook proceeded to play her program loud enough for her to listen from the griddle where she began to do the order.. as I said.. friendly...

None of the employees greeted me when I walked in, normally when I go to any Waffle House I’m greeted no matter how busy the restaurant was. The employees were standing there talking, the cook was cooking, one of the employee was sitting at the bar eating. The restaurant was not busy, customers seem to be eating because they had their food as I walk to be seated. Nobody came to my table to wipe the table down so I had to wipe it myself, nothing was offered not even a menu or I’ll be right with you. No one came, one employee walked by with dishes in her hands and also didn’t say anything. One employee approached a family to ask if everything is ok as she made eye contact with me, so I felt like they didn’t want to serve me because of my race so I got...

Our server Dereck was " delightfully refreshing !" Sometimes we just can't remember names unfortunately, I'd love to name the Chef but the " coolest " Chef I've ever met ! I'll also say that they were respectful, entertaining, thoughtful and full of Positive energy 💝 All this while our server and Chef were cleaning and I must say that the Chef was " breaking his back " scrubing the floors as if he was scrubing the floors of the ICU. Thank's for a wonderful meal guys and now tbh, we were only going to eat and go back home because we hadn't gotten enough sleep in the last few days and ( selfishly ) we stayed until a bit after 6 am. and were able to walk accross the st. and shop at Kroger's before getting our Lyft home 😂 Thank's...
