first waiter that seated me was nice and super helpful. just ordered the basic sushi combo. miso soup came out quickly. out of balance. little dashi flavour, only salt from miso paste. was this just instant packets? there was wakame but not tofu, only slices of regular brown mushrooms not marinated or cooked. not a good taste. oh gosh i hope they weren't old white mushrooms that had just dried up. the sushi came out after about 20 minutes. asked for a dish for the soy sauce. waiter glanced at me rather annoyed. he gestured at the plastic takeout condiment cup sitting on the table and said "busy night, that's all we got". $20 for 6 pieces nigiri and california roll and all i get is a take out plastic cup? can't even dip sushi into it, too small. he came back by a little later with a metal dish. hmm no thanks. fish was not so good. bland, not good texture, too cold. scallop was actually a bit bitter in taste. the rice was plain? couldn't taste any vinegar. california roll was pretty harmless but it's kind of tough to mess that up. really could do just the same at the deli counter in the grocery store. if manager reads this... really sorry but i wanted...

We vistited for the first time this evening. Ordered 4 rolls which I gave the name to the waiter and he asked for the number. So I gave him the numbers for my rolls. He did not write down the order. The rolls come out and 1 is wrong. I inform the food runner there is a mistake. She takes the food and says she will check the order. She comes back and says this is what you gave your waiter, this is what you ordered. I am now upset at her rude tone and arguing about their mistake. I told her no, I said 44 the cooing cooing roll to our waiter. He didnt write the order down and made a mistake. She takes all the rolls back again and has us wait for them to place a tree figurine in the place of the removed incorrect sushi roll. I would have been fine with the empty space instead of having my food removed from the table a 2nd time. Mistakes happen and I wasn't upset the order was wrong but to argue with me and blame us when it was not our error. This was our first time and our last. Our servers were attentive and nice.the food was great and had lots of flavor but because of that rude hostess/foodrunner not sure of her position we will stick to our other...

Wish I could rate them on the quality of their food but unfortunately I am unable to. Had a late night last night and had to grab a late dinner. It was around 9:25 when we called to order take out because they’re advertised as closing at 10. I wasn’t going to go and eat there because they were closing soon so we just wanted something to go. Was told that the sushi bar closes at 9:20 and the kitchen closes at 9:40. Soooo why not just close at 9:30 then? If you advertise that you’re open till 10 then the food you offer should still be available till 10. If you have someone walk in at 9:40 do you just refuse them service? Makes absolutely no sense. The only good thing I experienced was the young man who I talked to on the phone. He was very apologetic when he didn’t have to be. After all it’s not his policy it’s whoever manages this place and they obviously have no clue how to run a restaurant. I worked in the industry for 10 years and have never heard of such a policy. Will not be eating there because I’ve honestly lost interest. Also, who knows what other dumb...
