McDonald's — Restaurant in Brawley

Placed an order through Uber Eats & we never received the order. I contacted the store to check the status of my order & I got the run around from the representatives. First they said that they will not make any orders until the customer calls them to confirm the order. Now that I've called, they will make mine. This is after the time I was suppose to receive the food. Then she places me on hold. The second story they have is that they actually already made my food a long time ago & it is pending pick up. No one from uber eats has actually come yet. So they suddenly have magically had my food waiting the entire time when it was not made prepared at all. I requested her to cancel the order because they're giving me the run around, not making the food, then suddenly making the food, & it has been done for a long time which is now cold. She said that they can remake the food for me once I arrive to pick it up. This would defeat the entire purpose of ordering through Uber Eats. Then I'm placed on hold & she returns, I have to tell her everything all over again. Finally she said she'll cancel for me. 20 minutes later they still didn't cancel & they plan on sending me food that's now an hour old. I try to contact again & they're not answering the phone. So I contact Uber Eats to cancel. The representative says someone has now arrived to pick up the order. I request for the food to be remade as previously offered. McDonald's however is now saying that I would have to pay for the order twice for a remake. The first hour old cold order & stale food plus a remake order. It took 30 minutes just to...

UPDATE! 7/7/24- Went for some food. I decided to go inside since they are horrible with customer service at drive thru. I ordered at the mobile kiosk and cashed out a free sandwich from my rewards and ordered more food. I anticipated a wait so I sat down and when the 20 minute mark came I got up and they barley called out my number. I was a lil frustrated. I went to grab my order and they didn't hand me my cup for a drink. I stood there and the employee passed me a few times. I noticed he was working on a drive thru order so I waited as patiently as I could when It looked like he had a free moment he turned to me and noticed I was standing there. He turned away as if he was still busy I I shouted Hey!! I need my drink I have been waiting here! He looked annoyed and gave me a small cup hes lucky im honest and that's the actual size of drink I ordered. I went to get my drink and noticed how filthy the dining area and drink station was. I quickly left to eat my meal at home. When I arrived home and I began to eat my meal I noticed they forgot to give me my free burger I cashed kut from my rewards. 😡. Horrible place horrible customer service and disgusting dining area. Nothing has changed in the 7 months lapse in time from the last review. I don't like to give bad reviews because usually these places work harder then most people realize to make your experience fast and give the best quality food while still maintaining a cordial relationship with every customer they come in contact with. In this case however it was a food issue and also an issue with not properly filling the order. I was asked to pull forward to window 3 to wait for my order. When I got to the house with my order it turned out they did not give me 2 of the quarter pounders. I returned to the restaurant to get them and they took care of the problem quick and easy along with throwing a large fry in for the mistake (I think more places should do that). Unfortunately the food all seemed to bit a bit on the cold side.
