Piloni's Italian Steakhouse — Restaurant in Brazil

We've been to this establishment twice. Once during a busy dinner rush, and once during a very relaxed lunch. Both times the food and atmosphere have been great. During the dinner rush the service was incredible! Not only did the chef came out to check on us personally but the waitress was very accommodating and even packed our to go containers for us. They did a wonderful job despite how busy they were, and everything arrived at a decent amount of time.

When we went there for Lunch the food was still absolutely amazing, but the service left much to be desired. Im not sure if it was a training issue or a miscommunication amoung staff. But it was not busy at all and it seemed like the wait staff was avoiding us. My husband is convinced it was because of our appearance. But he might just have well been anxious.

One man, who I assume was the manager seated us at a booth as requested and then walked away. Then a waitress approached us looking annoyed and asked if we've been helped, we said no and she just tossed some menus at us and walked away and what looked like one of the kitchen staff came and took our drink order. It took a while, but then a younger waitress brought our drinks and took our order.

She never refilled our glasses a single time. She seemed to be completely avoiding our table. She even stood across the room with her hands behind her back and leaned up against the wall for a long time, When she did come over to ask us if we needed any to go containers she only gave us one box for three customers leftovers. And did not bring us the check. My husband has socailphobia so we try to avoid being too demanding. So it was very awkward when We had to try to flag her down and she yet again spent a good amount of time leaned up against the wall. As if she was...

I so wanted to love this place, waited a long time anticipating a chance to get by there to try it out, this weekend my husband and I went there for our anniversary dinner. The restaurant was clean, the environment nice, our waitress was very helpful and extremely kind, HOWEVER, I was very disappointed in the response from the owner regarding my meal. I never complain. Even on this occasion I had not planned to, my waitress simply asked how things were tasting and I had already pushed my plate to the side (my husband and I both had the same entees but he had a full order I had a half) mine was EXTREMELY dry and his was not. The waitress offered to ask if something could possibly be taken off. She made a few attempts to get his attention but he was busy at another table therefore by time he finally did come over and offer to get me more sauce, my thought was no thx my food is already cold. For a place with such good reviews, and a place that obviously makes good profit he could of easily offered to remove my small meal from the bill, to me that would of been the right thing to do instead he simply said sorry thanks for coming in. Very disappointing. Needless to say was not the anniversary dinner wed hoped for, we both said we should have went to our normal place! Bring self employed for the last 18 years I take pride in the fact I strive to satisfy, and I feel the service I received here was a bit of a joke. We were pleasantly surprised and were so happy we decided to try Piloni's Italian Steakhouse for ourselves! We entered the restaurant at 6:30 p.m. and were seated immediately. The restaurant was very busy, but not uncomfortably crowded. Our waitress came immediately to take our drink order and was very attentive and helpful throughout our visit. Drinks, appetizers, and meals arrived in a timely manner. Prices were comparable to other restaurants in the area. We truly enjoyed the bruschetta appetizer that we found to be delicious. The bread was lightly grilled in the best way...lightly crunchy without being overly hard, and the topping was plentiful and flavorful. Our party ordered 3 different entrees, which were all very good. We ordered the garden chicken and the beef short rib, which were specials, and they were both excellent. We would order them again in the future. The beef short rib was so tender that it was easily cut with my fork. The garden chicken included creamy basil pesto and sautéed vegetables, which complemented each other perfectly. We also ordered the bronzini, which was very good as well! Vegetables were well seasoned and flavorful! The murals were beautiful, and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. The restrooms were bright and clean.
