Went here foe a late breakfast this morning took my son and uncle with me. My son always has a popular mouse looking pankake with fruit and whipped cream. Uncle had an egg omlett and coffee. I myself went all out with the 8 oz strip steak (mid rare) and 3 eggs, came with hash browns and toast. A glass of o.j. and a cup of coffee. I also ordered a side of bacon because I knew vinnie would eat it. Unfortunately I some how let him order a soda (not the best for breakfast and a terable choice to go with pancakes) First off the steak was cooked perfect. To put anything on this stake would have been an insult to whomever cooked it. Thank you by the way. Also the rest of the food was made to homestyle perfection. I ate every last bit exxcept a small slither of grissel at one of the corners. The waitress staff was very friendly and nice. They where very packed right after we arrived they seemed to have gotten a rush. (10:30ish) Our waitress seemed to be working in three differant rooms but our coffee cups stayed full becouse they all seemed to watch each others back. My uncle mistakenly thought that she was slackingleading my aon to beleave that as well but I exsplane the rush and the fact that we actually only had to wait on a Togo container for my son Vinnie, that I was able to grab while paying my check that arrived at the table at the same time I had compleated my food. And that because of all of that I had tipped the waitress 25%. And that he shoild make sure he notices the hole picture before speaking bad about someone like that. (I beleave he was just upset because he couldnt really get a word in over my uncle. And this was the first time we've been out in a long time because after talk by our sales and joking a little once home he devoured the remaini g pancakes and bacon. Id like to apologise fore there untaistful comments there at the end. That was the best meal ive had sence the last time I ate there over a year ago. I'll be sure to stop in morw often when I'm in...
Read moreBefore new owners this place was amazing. New staff as well. Since new owner, new rules. Menu for instance, said my breakfast came with toast. Waitress said it didn't and I showed her. but she said she couldn't do anything about it. I said well I want toast anyways. Then one time I was in for dinner. I wanted cottage cheese instead of a salad. She said she couldn't replace it. I said regardless I want cottage cheese. Several times we crossed this same bridge. Tonight was last straw. My husband and I were in for dinner. Food is always good seriously. Tonight on a Saturday night they are closing at 8p. Never remember that early closing before. We are eating and they are sweeping and mopping with Pine-Sol it was so strong to smell while eating. The girls are wanting to get out. At 7:30 our waitress was trying to decide if they have time to make wings for my husband since they close @ 8pm. I've worked in restaurants before, if a customer came in five minutes before time to close you got to order regardless of what it was!! This place was one of our favorite places to eat. We would drive a county over to eat here. Now it's not a place we will probably ever come back to! Last owners had this place enjoyable to frequent. We miss the place it use to be. By the way, when you checked out at register and when they ask, " Was everything alright"? You tell them anything they would say, I'm sorry... Don't waste your time because they...
Read moreThis restaurant has one of the largest menus I've seen. My family and I enjoy coming here. Each of us is a little picky about our food and no one seems to want the same things at the same time. When we come here, there has been something for everyone. We visit often but there are so many choices that we do not get tired of it. Portion size will never leave you hungry after the plate is clean. Your wallet will not be empty for a family of 4-5 either. My husband, my youngest, and I choose our favorites and pay $18 before tip. The servers we've had here are better than we've experienced in most small town diners and are certainly the best in Brazil. You can tell they work well with each other and are attentive to all tables. Its also charming to see them carry on conversations with "regulars" but treat everyone with great service. Eating here, you can feel like you are from and part of this small town even if you are not. My husband recommends the country fried steak. I love the house chicken with their seasonal vegetables and soups. My 9 year old recently tried the Pizza Burger and is making it his new favorite. All of us love the bread pudding which is included in some of the meals. Carryout is also a great idea. You'll be taking home...
