City Buffet — Restaurant in Breaux Bridge

If I could I would give it zero stars, I'm completely discussed with what happened. After a long day of being in town I decided that me and my husband should go eat at a buffet to save money then head home. When I got there they gave our drinks, me being 28weeks pregnant, I was starving by then and thirsty. So I almost down my whole drink after I ate my first plate. I went up to get another plate, my husband still at the table, when I came back he turned my cup around and there were bits of dead roaches in it . I instantly told the waiter and upon leaving all they did was take off the price for drinks. I was to tired to argue so I paid and left. Vomited everything in the parking lot. Never eating...

When we got there (during Friday night dinner), it was packed and there was a line. It took maybe 15 - 20 minutes to be seated. Nice atmosphere. Good Food. Some items were a little bland, but not enough to ruin a whole meal because you had enough variety to choose. Those bland items came with sauces that could add to the flavor and/or spiciness of the dish. So, no worries there. 😊

The staff was friendly and helpful. Limited sushi selection, but still good.

(1 Star is only so I can leave a review. Place is actually -5 in my book)It was so nasty. The chicken tasted rotten and a lot of the food was cold. The only thing I enjoyed was a slice of semi cold watermelon. I ate what didn't taste spoiled on my plate but a lot was wasted on the fact that it was disgusting. I paid nearly $30 on food that neither my husband nor I enjoyed. This was one of the most expensive Chinese buffets I've ever been to. I will not be going back and I will suggest other people go to the great wall in carencro. Better food and prices.
