We had really high hopes for this place. I speak Spanish very well and to hear the staff talking badly about other guest was a complete shock! The manger and other staff where walking around eating chips on the main dining room floor without washing their hands before returning to work. If you order a top shelf drink, make sure they make it fresh! You’d think since your paying more, they’ll make it by hand. But no, it’s pre-made with so much sour mix, your blood pressure will spike! The stake I order had so much fat on it, that I couldn’t even eat it; I’ll be feeding it to my dog. My husband and I were coming back from the Beau Rivage to Texas and HAD to have Mexican food! This place was recommended by a lady we had just bought cracklings from down the road. Salsa was good, we like it spicier. Hint: when eating at Mexican places always ask if they have hotter hot sauce in the back! They did, I found by mixing the 2 together it was more to my liking. I had the steak burrito and chicken burrito plate, rice and beans. Wish I had a photo! Big steak chunks in the beef one, shredded chicken in the other. A fine place with normal seating. The place seems clean and efficient. The waiter was excellent without getting in the way. He made excellent suggestions. I had the street tacos with sausage. Three declicious soft shell and I added onions. I should have accepted the cilatro but did not hear well ( forgot my hearing aid). I also had the suggested hot sauce -- very hot. These are an ecellent choice. The chips and salsa were as good as I expected. The side of beans and rice looked just OK. I did not eat them. The parking lot is accessible and flat as is the entrance.
