Clover's Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Bremen Township

My friend: Is the owner racist? Bartender: Sigh…Yea

So here we go. The one star that I’m giving for service would literally only be for the bartender; Hanna. She was great. Me and my friends (all black)came here after leaving another local hookah lounge that closed at 1am and saw this place closed at 3am. Like us, many other people from the same place came here because we saw what time they closed and still wanted to enjoy the night. We came in about 1:45am and they were pretty empty with the exception of maybe 3-4 white people already there. We were just vibing playing music on the jukebox and ordering beverages etc. Around 2am the owner came around yelling “Wrap it Up”to us patrons and said they were closed and told the bartender to no longer serve us. We asked the bartender like “I thought y’all didn’t close until 3am; she said we don’t.” So my friend asked the bartender “Is the owner racist?” and she replied with a sigh first “yes”. We just responded with “Tha k you for your honesty.” We like dang we just came in here chill, no disorderly conduct, paying for the music and drinks we wanted and because of the color of our skin we’re getting kicked out of an establishment in 2025! The owner even had the police come inside the bar to make sure that we left but the white patrons were allowed to stay. This is sad. We’re all 30+ with careers and businesses and parents we’re just out trying to celebrate myself and another friends birthday not trying to cause trouble and incidents like this happen. The owner was good enough to take our money for that 15mins but we weren’t good enough to stay in the building. Black people and all human lovers PLEASE stay FAR AWAY from this...

This place is actually pretty cool. The physical bar is a solid size for the spacing they have. They run games and events throughout the week. They have live music, djs and karaoke on weekends!!! Super kid friendly!! Most of the bartenders there are super friendly, nice and portray great communication with the customer base. They move quickly, efficiently and effectively to the best of their abilities even on the busiest nights. The kitchen staff and what they bring to the table food wise is amazing. Pending on the area most bars have ok to decent food, however Clover's has great to awesome food! I can personally suggest the wings and burgers from their. That cook during the daytime that they have is a bonafide chef the gentleman knows how to cook. This staff in general is a great staff they know what they do daily and how well they do it! Visit with friends and family they will make sure you have a great experience. And for people who read reviews... Most people who give terrible/angry reviews on places are the one off customers or people who don't live in the area. Also the ones who resort to slander just dont need to have opinions about these nice places not just Clover's I mean...

The bartender on Election Day thinks she’s so on top of her game! lol 😆 It’s a public establishment. Patrons can talk about whatever they like’!
