I loved that there are many vegetarian options available on the menu. It can be hard to find that many options locally so I definitely appreciate that and hope that with improvements they are able to thrive here. Pros: Menu options, the FLAVOR is THERE, the Naan is 1000/10! The chickpea dish was full of spice and it was served hot and fresh- I’d definitely come back for that! Cons: More of a call and order ahead spot which is disappointing, the floors need cleaning, they left all of the Jurassic decor up inside and outside and just hung a banner sign over the existing sign(I’d hope that’s just until a sign comes?), a lot of the drink machine options were “out of order”, our order was wrong (ordered spring rolls and it was something with corn inside of a puff- not exactly sure), environment is kind of awkward and definitely needs something to make it welcoming and interactive so that people want to stop by.
Overall, we loved the entrees we ordered and do feel like they were a good value considering it comes with rice, salad & naan and they do not slack on the spices! We didn’t try the appetizer as it was incorrect and for dessert we got the chocolate one and it wasn’t something we cared for personally but we would love to try other dessert options...
Read moreMy wife and I visited the restaurant for lunch today (Wednesday). We ordered a "Paneer-Szechuan" pizza, chicken tikka masala, and the lamb kabobs with some extra naan.
It took 30-40 minutes for us to get our food, although there was no one else there. The interior of the restaurant is still very much a Dinosaur Subs, so that needs some work as well.
However...
The (presumed) owner gave us a complimentary mango lassi and a pastry to make up for the wait, and more importantly, the food itself was very good. The tikka masala was buttery and the chicken was well-cooked, I would eat the lamb kabobs again any time, and the pizza was surprisingly good.
It's awesome to have an Indian restaurant nearby, and I would definitely come back for the food, but I do hope they are able to move a little faster and improve the atmosphere of the restaurant. Since they just opened, we'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now, and keep...
Read moreTL;DR: Give this place a while for the restaurant to get organized and work the kinks out before giving this a try. I enjoyed their food, but it’s not good enough to 45 minutes for a tikka masala and chicken curry.
Overall, the food was good (tikka masala and chicken curry) and I would eat here again - if it wasn’t for the long wait time.
I walked in and placed a Togo order and was told 25 minutes, but ended up having to wait nearly an hour.
There was already a large party present, who had their food already, and no one else in the restaurant. In the hour I waited, I watched several pizzas be prepared, then put in a warmer cabinet and two other orders were completed for people who ordered after I did.
I would only recommend this place if you have plenty of time on your hands or order WELL in advance - the food is good, but not 45+...
