McDonald's — Restaurant in Bremen

Man, what a terrible experience. Possibly the worst McDonald's I've ever visited.

First problem: my wife and I waited 40 minutes for our food. No exaggeration. And they weren't even busy...there were two other customers in the lobby who ordered around the same time we did, but that's all.

Second problem: my wife ordered a salad with grilled chicken. They gave her a salad with no chicken, and rotten slimy lettuce. We asked for a new salad, with new lettuce, and with chicken. After listening to the kitchen crew shouting at each other over whether the chicken was the right temperature or if it had sat out too long, they brought out her salad with chicken on it...but it was the same slimy lettuce. We complained again about the lettuce, so they took it back and made it again. When they brought it out, the guy said "we even opened new bags of lettuce, just for you!" But he was clearly displeased, like we'd inconvenienced him by not wanting to eat slimy lettuce?

Third problem: The food was not fresh. Lukewarm sandwich, tough meat, cold floppy french fries.

Fourth problem: I ordered a drink to go, but they didn't give it to me. Because of all the other problems, I didn't even notice until we got home and I realized I didn't have it.

Fifth problem: as all of this was going on, it was clear that none of the crew cared enough to solve any of the problems. We heard lots of shouting from the kitchen ("I don't know how to make that kind of salad! What goes on it?" "What's the right temperature for grilled chicken?" "That chicken has been out too long!" "No it hasn't!"), but none of it inspired any sort of confidence in the food we were served.

How this place is still in business is beyond me. I will...

Ever since I moved to Bremen between 2 and 5 times a week I come to McDonald's and I get the same breakfast. A steak bagel with cheese.

I've even commented to the man in the first window (who has zero personality or people skills) how they should go ahead and just give him a cot in the back because he's there so much.... HE KNOWS my order because it's been the same all of the 100 and some times I've been here.... My consistency has even been commented on.

Today I come in order my same steak bagel, and they give me sausage after a 20-minute wait....

Now normally have this been chicken or anything else I wouldn't have said a word I would have just smiled and went on about my way because I know they don't damn well get paid enough for what they do I've been there.... I've been them on the other side of the counter...

HOWEVER I have been Torah observant now for 4 years and I haven't ate one bit of pork or had to pass my lips...

Because of their lack of professionalism lack of accountability and their indiscretion I have a whole mouthful of pig today

UNFORGIVABLE

I WILL NEVER BE BACK TO THIS SPECIFIC MCDONALD'S AGAIN I DON'T CARE IF IT'S THE LAST PLACE TO EAT ON EARTH I WILL DIE OF STARVATION FIRST.

It wasn't just the fact there was a mistake made it was the shoulder shrug nonchalant attitude of every employee I encountered today even though I started out kind understanding and trying to be courteous....

FURTHERMORE IF MCDONALD'S CORPORATE CANNOT GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER THE WHOLE CORPORATION WILL NEVER GET ANOTHER DAMN...

Rude cashier. He rushed me through my order (assumes the first thing i say is all i want, tells me my total, and to pull ahead). Then got mad when i wasn’t done, while acting like it’s the worst thing in the world to add something to an order that was never even completed in the first place. Then was told to park in the lot and was told they would bring my food to me. When I finally got the food it was old fries and over cooked patties on a plain bacon mcdubble, except no bacon, yet i was charged for it. I was also given two coupons for the wait, but guess what?! They were expired! Expired by two months actually. I was out of patience and didn’t even bother going inside for a refund or exchanging the food.... i fed it to the dog. This wasn’t the first time this guy rushed me through my order. I never got his name, but he is the one who seems extremely gay. I don’t know for sure if he is or not, so I don’t want to say he is.
