Dasi — Restaurant in Bridgeport

Last minute dinner night out with our oldest and we had heard Really good things about Dasi! It was also a little later than we realized, so we got there at about 8:15 p.m. but they were very friendly and encouraged us that they did not close until 9:00! Was not expecting it to be an order at the counter before sitting, which we don't really like, but all good! Very clean and new, might suggest dimming the really bright overhead lights. We placed a to go order over the phone and were told it would be ready in an hour. Knowing the restaurant had just reopened, we were understanding and waited patiently in our car. Unfortunately, after the initial hour passed, we called to check on the status and were told it would be another 30 minutes. At the 90 minute mark, we called again and were informed it would be an additional 20 minutes. At that point, we had no choice but to cancel the order and move on. While there is a bit of a wait since everyone in wise county is so excited (me too), it is definitely worth it! Employees are friendly, the restaurant looks great! Food, of course, delicious. My husband called in our order. He loves their Dumplings but only wants them fried. I guess the employee on the phone heard 5 Dumplings, so to our surprise we had 25 Dumplings in our order. No biggy because my husband is stoked about his 25 Dumplings, lol! I have a feeling we will be back for 25 more before...
