We stayed in Clarksburg for our 2nd Anniversary and went to Oliverio’s for dinner. We were unaware of the “Lighting Up the Town” celebration going on and found ourselves stuck in traffic for 2 hours going to dinner. We arrived at Oliverio’s and were immediately seated. Our waitress was fabulous. We had Bruschetta for an appetizer. Delicious. I had the lobster linguine and my husband had lasagna. Delicious. We chose chocolate/peanut butter pie and tiramisu for dessert. Delicious. We are very impressed with the beautiful decor with the elegant Christmas decorations. Definitely a return visit in the near future. Hopefully we will inquire if any big events are going to cause traffic congestion.

I was in Bridgeport for work and received a couple recommendations to try out Oliverio’s. It didn’t disappoint! I brought my appetite. To start off I got the Bruschetta, if you have followed me you know I’ve got to try the Bruschetta wherever I go. The bread was good along with the cheese and mushroom. Then, I had the Diablo for the main course and the waiter recommended the seafood Diablo so I went with it but asked if they could add some Italian sausage to it. It was really good! Great flavor and wasn’t too hot. I would get that again. Then to finish it all off I got a slice of cheese cake. It was a good meal. The service was good. I would go there again if/when I go back for work.

Apparently it's only a good place to eat if you dine in. To make a long story short, my husband and I ordered dinner to go a couple times. Both times our food was not how we ordered it. I called to let them know and was sent a gift card each time. The cards weren't for much but at least they made an effort. After a few months we decided to give them another try. Unfortunately we were disappointed again. To give them credit, our spaghetti was pretty good but our salads were literally all lettuce with 2 tiny chunks of cucumber and 1 cherry tomato cut in half. They left out the other toppings we ordered. Needless to say, this will be our last time ordering from Oliverios.

We made reservations within 10 minutes before arrival. We were seated very quickly. Greated with a smile. We were tended to by Gracie. To say she was exceptional is an understatement!! We started with the bruschetta. The balsamic glaze was spectacular. Probably the best Ive ever had! The bread was warm served with whipped butter. The butter sent it over the top. The salad was served on a metal plate which kept the salad cold. The house dressing was a perfect blend of redwine vinegar and oil with the perfect ratio. We felt that the fresh cracked black pepper made it memorable. The serving size was ideal. The cucumbers made it refreshing. The entrées were the crescendo of the evening. My girlfriend had the Diablo. The chicken was tender. Not over cooked. The linguine was al dente. The sauce was creamy, nicely seasoned and not overpowering. I had the Chicken Parmesan. I must say that the first bite was transcending. It had the most incredible smokiness. It was fork tender and moist. The Angel hair was also al dente. For dessert we had the tiramisu. Once again perfection!! All in all, the best dinner experience by far since being back in West Virginia. However, I would be remiss if i didnt mention the entire staff. To keep it short.. It was watching excellence. Well trained and attentive to every person's needs. During my visit, I didnt see one patron return anything to the kitchen. However, we did hear alot of conversations and laughter. I can not recommend them any higher. A spectacular meal, atmosphere, and service beyond compare!! To the manager.. you dont want to lose your chef. Nor your staff. Your leadership is evident in the performance of your staff and the satisfaction of your clients....

I hate to say this because I live a half a mile from what used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but last night was my last time at this place. It was the rudest service I have ever experienced from a waitress and my spouse actually went to the manager and said we do not want her waiting our table. We were there for a 40th Birthday party that I was paying for. I called ahead and made a group reservation. I told the woman that I would have between 15 and 20 people. She said okay and that she would call back closer to the date to confirm and I said okay. She never called so I did and told her that I definitely had 11 people coming but others were not sure and it could be as high as 15 people. She said no problem. When we were seated the rude waitress instantly said we were not ready for this many people and the paper said 13. I said then the person wrote it down wrong and I explained our conversation I had on the phone to her. She then tells one of children to move very rudely so she could move tables. I said I am spending a lot of money here and I hope your attitude improves. Then she said you already have 17 people here which was actually incorrect. There were 16 counting a 7 month old baby that obviously did not eat. We had one waitress, after the rude one was removed from our table and she did do a good job. The other bad thing was the food was not very good which was unlike this place that I have raved about for years to people. I have always respected people in the service industry because I know they have a hard job but this was awful and will be our...

I ate here for the very first time today after years of hearing about how good it is. Maybe my expectations were too high? Not sure. I do want to say that the service was great and the staff interaction was too. That rates as a FIVE STAR.

The food though was disappointing somewhat. Not terrible but not outstanding. No one at our table was blown away by our meals. The house salad is pretty good as is the bread. But the marinara was just ok. My vegetables were not fresh and had the taste and appearance of a frozen bagged selection. No one completely finished their meals. And the desserts were all pretty generic too.

So maybe it was just us. Maybe it was a bad day? I don’t really know and I’m confused reading all of these other reviews.

I definitely think some things could be improved but I want to state again the service was great and hopefully this was just an off day but that broccoli, cauliflower, carrot medley was like something not befitting a restaurant of this reputation.

If I’m back this way I might try again someday but I would go a completely different direction on my meal and what I got.

The restaurant also does have a nice atmosphere and charm...
