Poor customer service I received from CASSANDRA, the assistant manager. My daughter had placed an online order with 4 pizzas but upon arriving home with the pizzas, one of the boxes was empty. When she attempted to show the empty box to CASSANDRA on her phone, she was extremely rude and told that the boxes are always checked three times by different people. When my daughter called me, I went up to the establishment to present the empty box as evidence, but CASSANDRA displayed a nasty attitude, telling me that she had already made my daughter the pizza what was my problem. I explained that my problem was not with the pizza itself, but rather with the attitude she had towards my daughter. She told me “yes I gave her attitude and what” When opening the box to demonstrate its emptiness, she shrugged her shoulders and said “and all orders are checked 3 times” I informed her that someone didn’t check them. I let her know I intended to file a complaint. Her response was that she was the assistant manager, to which I replied that her position was irrelevant. A simple apology for the inconvenience would have been sufficient, but she failed to apologize, which was disappointing. So we will not be back to Pizza Hut. I ordered a pizza to go, and when I asked for Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper—something that has always been a standard complement to pizza—they told me I had to pay extra. I wasn’t asking for extra packets; I was simply expecting what used to be included without question.
What’s more frustrating is that when you dine in, those same items are sitting freely on every table, available at no extra charge. So why are customers who order carryout being charged for something that’s clearly considered part of the dining experience?
I understand that costs have gone up and businesses are adjusting, but this kind of policy feels more like cutting corners at the customer’s expense. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference in how valued we feel as customers.

Read moreI am only rating this a one because there isnt a lower option. The children that work here have terrible customer service skills. They are constantly rude and mischarging. I have tried to give the benefit of the doubt and think maybe I have just gone when the kids are having a bad day and thought maybe it will be better next time but it never is. I got mischarged again and when I pointed it out the girl said she "hates when people come in just trying to get extra discounts." I didn't want "extra" discounts just the price that was posted on the site. When I called the order in I even asked the girl if that was the correct price or if it was online price only.
