Don’t be thrown off by the location! I was outside and almost didn’t go in because it’s a hole in the wall in a residential neighborhood. That would have been a big mistake!! I got the boat noodles (beef) as suggest other reviewers. Even on one of the hottest days of the year the warming spices in the broth hit the spot. The meatballs and veggies were a nice touch. Would definitely get that next time. But the highlight for me was the mussel pancake. Unlike anything I’ve had in a long time, it was fantastic! The mussels popped with flavor and the sauce served with it was a nice compliment to the fried batter. It was served with plenty of scallions and cilantro to freshen up the flavors. It was surprisingly light for what is essentially savory funnel cake. The waiter recommended that appetizer and sure enough it was listed under MUST TRY on the menu. My husband was raving about these "Drunken Noodles" he had for lunch on Friday from Ruuthai's Kitchen in Bridgeport. He made it sound so good, that I tried Thai food for the very first time. We ordered the Drunken Noodles with chicken and their Summer Rolls. OMG I regret getting only one drunken noodles. It was so good. Their online oredering system is very user friendly. They send you a text to inform you when your order is being prepared and when it will be ready. The staff was so nice, we got it super fast. The outside may look deceiving ( I almost didn't order because the outside it looks old) but the inside is very nice. I'm looking forward to trying something else there. Very intimate atmosphere, with exceptional service and phenomenal food. One of the few Thai places I have visited that will accommodate a heat leave requested. We ordered the Larb salad and it was so good I could of had two. Then we ordered drunken noodles in two different spice levels and both we extraordinary. I ordered mine Thai hot and it actually came close, which is refreshing and I was happy especially after eating my left over later in the night. The mild was perfect for my partner, who was very unhappy after insisting on trying mine.
