La Mexicana Restaurant & Bakery — Restaurant in Bridgeport

I had lunch there last week with a friend, I had the traditional soft tacos, they were delicious. Another time I was there I had the Huraches Carnitas and a drink called Jamaica. The food was delicious and the Jamaica drink is now my favorite. I couldn't finish my meal so took it home and had it for lunch the next day. This Mexican restaurant in Bridgeport serves big portions and reasonable prices. Marcelino (the owner) came over to talk with us and is a very nice guy. They remodeled not too long ago. The food is good, but the employees are RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. Never ordering from this place again. We called in an order for delivery, they told us it would take only half an hour. An hour and a half passed by and no food. When we called to ask what happened, they were so rude they hung up on us, we called back so we could speak with the owner, the girl on the phone was so rude she hung up on us again. You walk in and the place has opened up. Great. More tables, less crowded, and waitress was awesome - 5 stars. Food... -2 stars. Came in hot, always good. It ALL lacked flavor. I had seafood soup. The amount of stuff I tossed in was insane to give it 'taste'. The other three had Pozole. They said the same thing. Bland.
