Sound Coffee Roastery — Restaurant in Bridgeport

So glad we have such a great place in the neighborhood. I am falling fast in the espresso rabbit hole and was looking for a great local coffee roaster. Stopped by the Sound Coffees' Bridgeport store on a Sunday morning to be welcomed by smiley faces. Had a long conversation with Jeff - btw, hard to find a nicer guy... You can tell the passion, knowledge and that this is a work of love. Right where I wanted to be! Got a tour of the place, with detailed explanations of the coffee varieties being roasted, all the hows and whys answered. I like single origin, highly aromatic, fruity, chocolate tasting beans. Ethiopia, Kenya and the likes. Have my eyes on a few of their offerings and cannot wait to try them! But the Green Room Espresso Blend checked all the boxes in my book, so went for it.
