The Knowlton — Attraction in Bridgeport

My husband and I had our cocktail hour and wedding reception at the Boathouse at the Knowlton. I cannot express how absolutely amazing this venue is. It will WOW your guest in more ways than one and it was a STUNNING place to take pictures!

I should start off by saying Shiran and Sandy are a DREAM TEAM. They helped me from start to finish a year in advance with my wedding through me panicking and wanting to see the venue about 1,000 times for my "vision". They were always happy to give advice and to open up the doors for me!

The day before we were let in to drop some things off which was great so we didn't have to worry the day of. Most venues don't allow that so I am so happy they did. There is ample parking and the space is new and beautiful. Shiran did a GREAT job with the lighting (such a talented jack of all trades).

Do not hesitate to book this place... it was our favorite part of our wedding and our guests too! Open and airy (we were able to keep the huge doors open to the deck on the river). We can't recommend it enough!

P.S. It was amazing to see all of our friends change their profile pictures to them in front of all of the murals...

The Knowlton Boathouse did an outstanding job of coordinating and then executing my event. I just recently worked with them to have my corporate holiday party and they did an excellent job of understanding my requirements and then fulfilling on those requirements above my expectations. They also did a great job of providing entertainment and services so that all the guests had a great time. Specifically, we were greeted at the secured lot and then again greeted immediately upon entry of the venue. There was a roaming Photographer who was able to add artificial intelligence to photos and then those photos were put on a large screen for all to view throughout the event. The tables, seating, video screen and dance floor were arranged perfectly for both conversation and dancing. Amazing venue and service!

The venue has ample space and is a perfect industrial vibe. The indoor and outdoor space are amazing and the murals made for incredible first look photos. We wanted a venue where we could do everything in one location and this was perfect for that.

Shiran and Sandy were so helpful and patient throughout the whole process answering all of my questions and doing everything they could to make sure we had a great experience. They went above and beyond during the walkthroughs, planning and day of the wedding. Incredibly understanding to the stress a wedding provides and making sure they didn't add to it.
