Pantanal Restaurant — Restaurant in Bridgeport

My x wife introduced me to this restaurant when she came to this country from Brazil back in 2009. I've been a regular ever since often coming with my daughter. The barbecue is second to none and the vegetables are always fresh. I've tried other Brazilian restaurants in the area and none come close. I've been to Brazil twice and I prefer this restaurant over any I patronized in Brazil. Again their are other Brazilian restaurants on North Avenue and Madison Avenue but I'd never go back. The food is so much better here. I also like the fact that I spend under 15 $ on average and not only get great food that's healthy but a generous amount for the $ I spend If I go to a fast food place I spend more $ for less food and it's not nutritious. The restaurant is conveniently close to downtown Bridgeport and the route 25 connector to 95 The staff is very friendly and that's the icing on the cake as they say In other restaurants I often am treated with neglect I suppose because the servers work on tips and are more attentive to larger parties Here you serve yourself but I always leave tips because the staff is so friendly. They address me by my name. Although the ambiance is nice, but I can dress anyway I prefer from work clothes to weekend knocking around duds and still feel at home There's no judgment here. I highly recommend this establishment. However it's so well known in the community that it stands on its own merit I also like the area in the back where they have billiards, a stage for entertainment on weekends and private parties . Everytime i feel like they can't get any better than the last time, they went and popped out the fried shrimp. I mean: O.M.G. This place is something special. You will not be disappointed. The staff is friendly. The food is delicious. Almost every time I come in they are cleaning. I'm not sure if there is any place like this one. I haven't bothered to venture out much. I eat Pantanal at least 3 times a week. I literally can't get bored of this food. If I'm having a hard day at work, all i think about is grabbing some when I get off and i am never disappointed. I don't know. If you haven't experienced this place, i highly suggest you try it out.

Was in town for the weekend, and decided to look for a Brazilian steakhouse. This place is located in the middle of an urban neighborhood, almost no other businesses close by. Clearly a family run business, and the food is delicious. The Rodizio/all you can eat is a little pricey at $21.49 a person. However, the quality of the food matches that cost. The brisket and Steak were SO good. They have another option instead of all you can eat, you fill a plate with food and they weigh it, and charge you based on the weight. Would be more economical for a smaller appetite, if you are only going to have one plate of food. Overall, I would recommend this place, especially if you like good meat. I would go back if...
