A restaurant right on the waterfront (the Beaver River); the tropical decor is spot-on, all the way down to the correct foliage and trees! You can even have your toes in the sand while you eat BAR FOOD, such as burgers and fries, sandwiches, salads, and 'fish' (probably cod, etc). Inside is an air-conditioned bar and a few tables, a few steps up (and away) from the bar with big picture windows of the Caribbean scenery. This time we were here, we had our hearts set on some simple shrimp cocktail (or at least some sort of shellfish), and frozen margaritas (it was a Saturday afternoon, and 93 degrees outside!). WELL. Our margaritas came out wrong (very wrong, but I'll save my breath), and the only seafood on the menu was FRIED [frozen] shrimp, fried [frozen] clams, and fish sandwiches [probably frozen fried too]. So as we slurped down or drinks, we googled 'seafood restaurants' near us and viola! Two buildings down was another waterfront restaurant where we got our shrimp cocktails served very elegantly for a very reasonable price, and properly-made frozen margaritas! Ok, so the Dockside didn't have sand and palms, but the decor had a cozy "nautical" feel, reggae music playing, and the service was fast and friendly. So while you're in Bridgewater, take your pick. ☺️

Went to Kelly’s for the first time tonight. I thought “a beach in Beaver County! What could go wrong?” Mostly everything.. Our appetizer was terrible. Lukewarm crab dip with the bottom of the bag of chips as the accompaniment. The worst part was the waiter did not assume he should replace the chips. He asked “should I ask about getting you new chips?” Ummm that’s your job my guy. I got a salad that was descent but nothing special for the $17 I paid for it. My husband got the Cod platter and shocker, it was all breading. Prices do not reflect the value. Definitely was not a $50 meal. To boot, it took me 20 minutes to get the Diet Coke I asked for. Service is not good.. Menu online is not the menu they give you at the restaurant so I felt bamboozled. Will definitely NOT be returning. I just wish I could get my $50 back for my sub-par Beaver County beach meal.

Tremendous, tremendous, tremendous!!!!! Had always wanted to go to Kelly’s, finally did, and I didn’t disappoint. Went In for a late lunch arriving at 2:00. Sat on the beach deck outside. Very cool florida keys / island vibe with tiki bar and Jimmy Buffet playing. Server was super nice, prompt, and excellent at her job ( unlike the standard where they act like you do them a favor by spending your money there” got the coconut shrimp which were freshly breaded and fried to order. Cooked perfectly. Same with the scotch eggs. They were made, breaded and fried to order, not pre made, which makes all the difference. Cooked perfect with a mustard sauce. There are 4 more items on the menu I can’t wait to go back and try… and, they know how to correctly pour a Guinness!!! Definitely going back and you should too! Just keep driving past the standard and go to Kelly’s!

While our server, the beer, and the atmosphere were excellent, the amount if time to get our order and the quality of our orders was abysmal. I don't like to give poor reviews, but this experience was disheartening. I wanted this place to be better, especially since we were here for a friend's birthday and because the server was so nice and knowledgeable! Cheese ball appetizer came out cold. Calamari came out severely over cooked to the point that it was literally just deep fried breading with no calamari. Nachos were decent at best. Fish tacos were cold and more like a fish slaw salad on too of cold flour tortillas (my.mistake for ordering fish in Western PA). Steak salad was inedible and over seasoned. Think beef jerky. Shrimp po boy was indeed po. Like 5 total pieces of shrimp seems excessively skimpy. Also I believe the bread may have been stale :( my daughter's kids meal of chicken strips was pretty poor, but again probably my fault for not ordering something that actually had the potential to be good. Chicken wings were pretty good... Never did get one of our party's order though. This is a great place for drinks but I would not come...

The service is rough at best. We wanted to come hang out enjoy the weather and have a few drinks, but after struggling to get water and food, there's no way the staff can competently open a bottle of beer.

We sat and waited for one of the 4 people behind the bar to come over, nothing. Went asked if we had to order at the bar, and got nothing but attitude about someone coming to our table. Wait 5 more minutes server comes over, with menus. We order our waters and drink them, while waiting for her to come back over for our food order. She takes our food order but makes no attempt to refill our waters. Ok we think she will be back promptly...nope, just drinking a beer on the other side of the bar while we sit with empty drinks... meanwhile there is one table outside one gentlemen at the bar and us, while the rest of the staff stands around talking at the bar, we eat while our waitress downs her drink and disappear, still no water refill. Clearly no one has taught this staff basic serving skills. The food was mediocre and the patio area does not make up for the...
