HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE !!!! They have a bunch of beautiful cakes in the window so you think that your cake will be just as beautiful. Not the case at all !!!! I gave them a exact picture of the beautiful wedding cake that I ordered. They said yes we can do this cake. I said I want it to be an exact replica of the picture I gave them. They assured me it would look exactly the same. The cake I ordered was gorgeous the one I got was ugly and thrown together. It looked nothing like the beautiful cake I ordered. I was truly upset but I pulled it together. Thank god I did not let it ruin my wedding day but it easily could have because it was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT !!!!! It also did not taste as good as the cake they gave me at the test tasting. That cake was moist and delicious the cake I got was dry and bland !!!! I think even given them one star is being to nice. I stopped to buy a few things for the weekend. I purchased a few cupcakes and lemon meringue tarts. What a disappointment. The cupcakes were stale, dry, and like lead. The lemon meringue tarts were awful; the meringue was gummy instead of light and fluffy and the lemon filling was too thick and tasted like canned pie filling or something from a box. Everything I purchased seemed to be on the shelf too long. To make matters worse, the owner was complaining to me about having to work in her hot kitchen on a humid day. All in all a very unpleasant experience. With so many good bakeries in the area I have no need to ever go back and waste my money in...

This place is the Best! The owners are the sweetest and always very accommodating with helping us plan for our special events. I grew up from childhood until my early adulthood frequently visiting & ordering cakes and pastries from Carlo’s Bakery in Hoboken. They don’t call Buddy Valastro The Cake Boss for nothing. His cakes were always amazing. Cameo Bakery runs a very close second. Always super fresh and absolutely delicious. I’ve been ordering from them for about 13 years. They never disappoint.
