Minnow's Cafe — Restaurant in Brielle

I was excited to try this new breakfast spot, but unfortunately, I left feeling more frustrated than full. I ordered a simple plate of eggs, bacon, and potatoes—nothing fancy—yet the price was double what other places in the area charge for the same meal. While I expected a higher price for a new spot, I was hoping that meant better quality or larger portions. Sadly, that wasn’t the case.

The food itself was just okay—nothing that justified the inflated cost. The eggs were cooked fine, the bacon was decent, and the potatoes were nothing special. Service was polite but not particularly attentive.

I don’t mind paying more for great food, but when I can get the same breakfast elsewhere for half the price, it’s hard to justify coming back. Unless they adjust their prices or seriously step up their game, I won’t...

Took myself to lunch here after a great pedicure at Clarity (a few doors down.) Reviews are outstanding for a reason. I got the chicken salad sandwich and the most wonderful coffee drink I ever had in my life! I actually got one to go and might have to go back tomorrow lol! Chicken salad was all white meat, finely chopped (makes a huge difference) and not dry. Came out on rye toast and big beautiful hunk of fresh iceberg lettuce. I got old bay fries on the side which came out piping hot and crispy and plenty of em. I heard the staff speaking of some influencers recently coming in so make sure to get there before it blows up on social media and you’ll never get a spot. Yay! Finally the perfect little spot that checks all the boxes. Been here a few times and each time every thing was pleasant and delicious. The vibe is coastal casual and there’s cute art work by local artists and a small retail area for lovely gifts of different kinds. The chicken salad is soooo good IMO, and I’ve also tried the tuna salad too and it’s just as good, so I don’t think you can’t go wrong there.
