Chef AJ's — Restaurant in Brighton Charter Township

I was in town from Chicago for a business meeting and was told by the locals this was where I should go, they were not wrong. I ordered the Reuben sandwich which had very good quality beef and the kraut didn't overpower the taste of the rye. I also had the shredded rib sliders with BBQ sauce that the chef had stirred up that day, it was phenomenal. I got to talk to Chef AJ and learned that he is also a Chicago native, who used to be a personal Chef for the Chicago White Sox, and owned and operated "Chef AJs" in Chicago's Bridgeport area. Much appreciation to Chef AJ and his friendly, happy-go-lucky staff. The place is clean and has nice natural lighting. And the food is delicious.

Me and my bf were traveling for work and were really craving garlic parm fries for lunch, eventhough not on the menu, he definitely tried his best topping our fries in parmasan and seasoning(cheese torched and melted) BEST FRIES EVER HAD! Perfectly flaking fries not to mention the perfectly Crusted Parmesan Chicken Sandwich. The bun was soft yet toasted to perfection. Veggies were put on the side so your sandwich didn't get soggy. So I have had burgers from all over the country and many other countries, and this little hidden gem is a must have. I got the Chef Special and it was a 10 out of 10 absolutely hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had. Don't sleep on the spinach it's really good. Having two guys busting their butts and pumping out food this quality for a very reasonable price is amazing. Guys keep up the good work. If I'm ever within an hour I'll be back.
