Can't remember this young lady's name!!! but she was our server Thanksgiving night around 830pm 9 pm... Just note "I also understand the food service industry," I worked a variety over 20 years. a busy or even Patient trying day, Can be found at Any and all cracker barrels. Especially a holiday that celebrates food, But the shown lady was absolutely wonderful, polite, well balanced, not neglectful, and just all around a great person!!! And I say this knowing what it feels like at the end of I know like a thanksgiving day in a seven top can walk in.... Anybody who's ever worked in any restaurant knows exactly what i'm saying... Unfortunately most experienced for jaded you could even say servers who have quote experience do not handle themselves And half the manner did this young lady Did and I simply i'm not actually somebody who did their job but did it very very well on a day like this and then to find out that she is a minor Which means probably her first job and no experience... But however she what's experience enough to make me wanna write this because of job shortages the lack of people who want to work and all the people who do work and do nothing but complain or show up and don't want to work This girl who's not even of age Stocking on One of the busiest restaurant days of the year and seemed to be composed at least for when she needed to be Handled a seven top at the end of the day And was on top of everything we asked of her I really hope this i'm talking about gets recognized spite can't not know in the name but hopefully my details about time table I can't imagine I'll hold bunch of the servers being a bunch of underage girls She was skinny blonde And seem tall But I was sitting down so she might not be as tall as i'm Remembering. We were at the long table Right next To the window in the very first dining room coming from the country store.. Cause I don't want this two just be a message doesn't get Acolated. Let's get also be hey message to any veteran Who's jaded or Knows There could be room for improvement or just the sample fact for the people who show up to work and don't work and if you're offended then yes i'm probably talking about you So Set hopefully this can also be a learning experience for those types of people... Anyway i hope this message finds the wonderful young lady who served us thanksgiving night and this message finds the people who should be more like this younger person who Is setting a new bar for the lack of one that we have in...
Read moreIntroduced to my first Cracker Barrel as a child. Fast forward over six decades, experience same old sweet feeling as in childhood. Enticing smell of food, glorious gift shop and friendly old-fashioned service. Never get tired or bored looking at timeless decor. Cracker Barrel remains and will always be one of my favorite restaurants. It’s a part of me.
My friend (Verna) and I enjoyed a incredibly delicious lunch at Cracker Barrel. Afterwards shopped for Christmas presents, we purchased beautiful glistening church globes. Globes are unique and tug at your heart. Five star gift shop. Restaurant clean and service excellent. Thank you.
Made special trip to Cracker Barrel and purchased two beautiful unique Christmas presents for a very special person. Saved money with rewards membership. Paula, thank you for your help and kindness. Exited restaurant with smile on my face and happy heart. Thank you.
Understand change happens constantly in life. World is evolving worldwide on a daily basis. Unfortunately, older folks and change don’t mix well. We are set in our ways and are creatures of habit. Reason why, I have eaten at Cracker Barrel majority of my life. Always enjoy Cracker Barrel cuisine and atmosphere. Special bond spent with like minded individuals. Similar to a club or social group. Introduced to Cracker Barrel in childhood, introduced my children and grandchildren as decades and decades slipped by. Enter restaurant and feeling of coming home grabs your heart. Always feel welcome and worthy. Don’t feel that kind of sensation in any other restaurant, period. Today was going to be my last supper, so to speak at Cracker Barrel. End of an era. Let it go, move on and forget about it. Problem is, ordered my favorite meal and fell in love again. Hostess gracious, server exceptional and special memories came flooding back in a heartbeat. Can’t change world or other people. Won’t change myself either. Will continue to stay true and loyal. That’s what makes most Cracker Barrel customers different from most other people. We truly love Cracker Barrel. It’s in our blood, part of...
Read moreFood itself was good and our waitress was no problem at all... HOWEVER the host Hailey was a joke. We had a larger party. 9 people. Obviously we understand trying to fit that many people. However they were extremely slow. Only a habd full of people inside. Hailey tried seating us at their small round table. We tried telling her multiple times we were not all going to fit and could we please sit somewhere else. She blatantly ignored us and kept trying to add chairs to the table. Once she put 8 chairs and realized we would not all fit she finally agreed to move us. 1st there were 5 empty tables in that section that we could have sat at with no problems but no she then decided to move us to the complete other side of the restaurant. As we were trying to help her move the table she wanted she got an attitude. We tried moving a chair out of the way because she actually put 10 instead of 9. She then told my mom to move and did the "scooch" hand motion at her and put the chair back!. Seriously if this is who if greeting people before you even get seated that's a joke. We would have just left except we were taking my sister for her 40th birthday and that was where she wanted. We won't be returning any time soon seeing as we definitely didn't feel welcomed by the first person we should be...
