McDonald's — Restaurant in Brighton

I recently had multiple visits to McDonald's, and I must say that I was highly disappointed with my experiences. The wait times were unbelievably long (a guy was waiting for his food and just eventually left without it because there was no one in the front to help), and the behavior of the manager is just unprofessional. It seems like he doesn't take his position seriously. First, to see the manager simply messing around instead of attending to the needs of customers. I just seen him throwing ketchup at his employees as a joke. You have customers waiting... The most frustrating incident occurred when a young guy entered the restaurant and struggled to use a coupon to purchase a Happy Meal for his little brother. Instead of assisting the child, the manager dismissed him by claiming it was the wrong code and simply WALKED AWAY, leaving the guy helpless and confused. I stepped in and tried to help, eventually ending up purchasing the meal myself. It was sad to witness such a lack of empathy and customer service.

However, so far most of the other employees have been friendly. Maybe super busy but atleast...

I visited this McDonald’s location recently, and I was absolutely appalled by the service. My group and I walked in, and there were employees present, but not one of them acknowledged us. We stood in the lobby for a solid 10 minutes, just waiting for someone to assist us or even look our way. No greetings, no “we’ll be with you shortly” — just complete indifference.

It was frustrating and honestly a waste of time. The lack of basic customer service, especially at a place like McDonald’s where service is typically fast and efficient, was surprising and disappointing. I understand that things can get busy, but 10 minutes without any attention or communication is unacceptable.

Definitely won’t be coming back to this location. I hope they can work on their customer service, because this experience was far below what should be expected from such a...

Hey, it's a McDonald's... I'm not expecting fine dining service and food. The reason they call it "fast food" is because they make the food ahead of time. Unless they are out of the thing you ordered, you are NOT getting cooked to order food. Please take it easy on these poor employees, or go to a sit-down restaurant where your food will more than likely be cooked to order, Oh no, you had to sit in your comfy car for two whole minutes while a group of kids works hard to try and feed a herd of rude adults. Next time try giving them a tip to show that you appreciate the fact that they are doing all the work, in record time, to feed you and your family while you don't even have to stand up. Hey even better, get out of your car, get inside there, and start working that fryer and help get that line moving.
