I come in Monday morning for breakfast I find a strand of long hair in my omelette which I stopped eating at that moment,all what the ladies by the names of Crystal & another chubby lady with dark black hair just interrogated me where I got the long blonde strand of hair from. No one came to apologize. When am done with my oats meal because I was hungry I decide to talk about it on my way out while paying for my meal n I suggested if the cook can cover their hair while cooking . The chubby lady with dark black hair rolled her eyes and answered me very extremely rude n raising her voice and justifying why the hair was in the food she if even stated I could go somewhere else. Then I told her it’s high time I go back to Golden Eagle Restaurant. I told her It’s not all about the money because I didn’t come for a free meal or it’s not charity but courtesy comes in hand. Went here to eat for my second time with my husband and kids . I ended up leaving to grab something quickly and come back . My husband stayed behind and paid . Cash only . He went to the ATM inside the diner to pull the cash out , meanwhile the food , his keys and phone were left on the table . A waitress even walked by him and he TOLD her he was not finished yet , just pulling money out . He turns around and the table is cleared of all the food . The waitress then looks at him and says “oh , we didn’t know if y’all were done so we just threw out everything “ ??? are yall okay . The guy at the front desk then shrugged his shoulders . My husband still paid . So lucky I wasn’t there because I wouldn’t have paid anything . Blatantly rude and spiteful ? full blown meals tossed . Not coming back here . The food here was pretty Good! I had a build my own omlette... spinach, tomatoes, ham, cheddar cheese and A side of French toast with Oj. I really enjoyed my meal. The table was clean, it was equipped with syrup,sugar,salt pepper and napkins. Alittle much of u have a small busy child,they will want to touch everything. It's has a very "Grandmas kitchen vibe" pictures of the locals and wall decor of old trinkets which were dust free. It has regular tables and booths. The bathrooms are for single users 1 for women and 1 for men. My server was very polite and welcoming. Not alot of culture in this establishment mostly Caucasian.
