Taps Sports Bar — Restaurant in Bristol Township

i give this one star because of their customer service. last week my friends and i went to this place after trying to find a descent place to go to with the right crowd. when we pulled up to this place we already assumed that it was going to be a good spot to go to because of the music and older/mix crowd. as soon as we walked in we were already looked at as if we didnt belong (and this was an older BLACK mixed crowd) me and my friends are older as well just new faces AND BLACK (so i never understood why all the funny look) we asked about the food the one lady bartender said the kitchen was closed (this was after 11pm, which is cool) then she walked off didnt offer us anything to drink or to see if we wanted drinks. So we waited for a good while then I asked a white lady bartender with glasses when she has the time that we want to order drinks. She said okay and proceeded to tend to her patrons, 20 to 25 minutes go by and one of my friends ask the same bartender if we can order our drinks, she put her finger up to her as if to say (wait) but we have been waiting for almost half hour. She apologize to her other patrons for taking so long to refill his beer and he was sitting right next to us. All my friends and i wanted to do is play pool and have a few drinks. First time ever going to a place where my own people even the bartenders made me feel like i didn't belong. Sad to put but the bars i've went to with white people made me feel more welcoming than that place and im not a regular at any bar i just go to get a piece of mind after a long week of work. Well on a whim, I decided to go out for the evening to a random nearby bar to try out and have a few drinks. This night it was Taps Sports Bar on 09/23/2022. I don't know who the bartenders were that night (A younger guy and a blond girl) but they were very both attentive and awesome. The crowd was a combination of younger and older and everyone was really friendly and welcoming. The DJ was playing a variety of good music and best of all AT NORMAL VOLUME! This establishment has Skills machine.But DON’T like to PAY-OUT. My brother inlaw hit last night for $700. They have him$200 and told him to come back the next day. He came back to have the owner tell him he had to wait until Friday. Unless he would take $400 tonight. Unbelievable. You will only honor his ticket if he toke less money or he has to wait until Friday. That has to be against some kind of regulation. If your business doesn’t make the kind of money needed to support these games. YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE THEM! Not good for business to try and rip off...
