Bristol Gardens and Grill at the Plex — Restaurant in Bristol

Just finished eating at Bristol Gardens & Grill at The Plex and it did not disappoint! I have been coming here fairly regularly since they changed over to the new restaurant. The BBQ is legit and everything I had to eat was honestly good! Tons of flavor, but it somehow feels lighter and cleaner than typical BBQ, which I really appreciated. I didn’t feel like I needed to go lay down after eating, which is rare for a meal like that! (Not just a BBQ place, but that’s what I like)

The space itself is really fun too they’ve got a full bar, ping pong tables, and even some games to keep the kids entertained. It’s a great spot whether you’re grabbing lunch during the workday, hanging out with friends or family, or planning on hitting the pickleball courts outside.

This is their new location (the original is great too), and I highly recommend checking it out if you’re nearby. Support local and enjoy some dang good food while you’re at it!

Young lady at the register was nice it seemed, but when I get there another young lady seemed bothered I was asking questions about the menu being different than online. They were presenting a different menu for the PPA event, which is ok , but they were even out of what I would have ordered on that menu. The icing on the cake was the young lady being inconvenienced by my presence and my questions. She obviously wanted me to scan a QR code, order, and shut up. I walked out and went down the road to J Mikes, and these kids in there running the place were incredible ! Smiling ear to ear with great customer service. Sad, because I like to support local business. Bristol was running the place like a tourist trap, like the employees hated their job. That may not be fair, as it was truly on employee who was the issue, but she was out front interacting...
