Asked a family member to go to Walgreen's in Bristol, RI today to purchase Sambucol Black Elderberry quick dissolve tablets. It's the only thing that works for me when coming down with the flu. She was told by the very unpleasant female pharmacist that they didn't carry it and she would have to go to a "vitamin" store. Another associate overheard and said it was in isle 16. She returned with Sambucol gummies which aren't as effective. She kindly returned to the store and came back with a liquid. I was trying to me responsible and avoid contaminating others, especially the elderly. I called the pharmacist and explained the situation to avoid a third trip with no success or having to go out into the cold myself. She told me she didn't tell my family member they didn't carry it and put me on hold. I was on hold three rounds and she returned to tell me they carried all three varieties (which I already knew because I've been buying it there for 8 years) AND THEN PROCEEDED TO HANG UP ON ME. I called back and she told me she did not hang up on me and had someone standing there. She has no empathy for ill customers and has no customer service skills.
