Birdie's Hot Chicken is a flavor explosion that will leave your taste buds dancing with joy. I recently had the pleasure of trying their chicken, and let me tell you, it was a game-changer. The chicken was not only incredibly flavorful but also moist and tender, making each bite an absolute delight.
I opted for a medium spicy level, and let me assure you, the medium had a respectable kick to it. It was that perfect balance between spicy and flavorful, delivering a satisfying heat that didn't overpower the other amazing flavors. It's clear that Birdie's knows how to master the art of seasoning their chicken just right.
The texture of the chicken was spot-on as well ā crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It's not often you find such a perfect combination of crunch and succulence in a single bite.
The overall experience was heightened by the welcoming ambiance and friendly staff. They truly know how to create an inviting atmosphere that complements the delicious food they serve.
In summary, if you're on the hunt for chicken that's bursting with flavor, cooked to perfection, and offers a satisfying level of heat, Birdie's Hot Chicken is the place to be. This spot has certainly earned its place on my list of must-visit...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām guessing this is the local version of Daveās hot chicken. I stopped in on my way to work after taking a licensing test in Brockton. I ordered a slider, 3 wings w/ fries and a lemonade.
The slider was overpriced at 5.99 more than the chicken sandwich from Popeyes and smaller.
It was definitely a tasty slider though composed of a tender Cole slaw (store bought) a pickle and some sauce.
If the slaw was house made with natural ingredients Iād see why the price at 5.99 but a tender on a bun with bag slaw thrown on it is not worth 5.99
The wings were jumbo along with fries for 14.99 I found that to be of value. You get fries bread and pickles on the side. The wings need more attention in the fryer as they need a little more time to crisp up.
They should separate at the knuckles with ease. This chicken was so tough to break apart you can tell is was just to satisfied temp. Not really crunchy enough to my satisfaction. The fries were mid and the lemonade was good just needs to be a little bit colder to compliment the spicy chicken option.
All in all a 4 out of 5 is my grade. Nothing spectacular but you will enjoy the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo this place has only been open a couple of weeks. So far, pretty good. The menu is small right now, I imagine it will grow as they progress and they don't have a soda fountain yet. They sell coke by the can which has to be killing them numberwise right now. Hopefully they will be smart and get one of those fancy new soda machines. The chicken itself was good. My friends wings with no spice we cooked well, crispy skin. The batter did have some kind of twist to it I very much enjoyed. I got the slider w medium spice. The bun had a slight sweetness to it and the chicken was perfectly cooked with a drizzle of a sauce and a slaw on the bottom which i presume is to balance more spicy selections. I wanted hot, but the girl talked me into medium. For connoisseurs of spice like me its ok to go up a level or 2 because the medium was milder than I thought. What Is not clear is where the heat would come from, is it in batter or is it in a sauce? Mystery for next time. This place is a welcome addition to the community and I look forward to seeing their evolution. 4 for now with...
