I have gone there twice, the 1st time the fish sandwich was off the chain. It was fried nice and crispy no batter or fish falling apart. I went again yesterday. I made my order at the drive up, the young lady told me that Friday is a busy day for them and could I come back in 25 minutes or longer I agreed was tired I work 10 hour days. I came back about 30 minutes, store was empty. When I presented my receipt, the young lady gave it to the cook, he said that he never got the order . The young lady that took my order told the cook, I gave you the order and I know that she paid for the order because I remember talking with her for a few minutes at the drive through, what happened . The cook was very condescending to the young lady, telling her that he never got the order. I felt bad for her because she is handicapped. Another lady intervened and said mam, we will get the order done and offered me a cup of chowder. I’m assuming that she was the manager. That was very nice of her, she took over immediately. The order was prepared and I left . Normally I’m in the habit of checking my food before leaving. I got home and opened the bag, my order was a mess. I ordered a FRIED SCALLOPS & A Fried Fish Dinner . The fish was soft, batter was still on the fish, onion rings, were soft, batter falling of them and scallops were soft as well. I asked for FRIED FOOD…. I feel that the cook rushed the order through and didn’t take his time, FRYING the food. If I didn’t have their FRIED FISH, before I would know the difference. FRIED IS FRIED. Still having batter on the fish and was wet , that cook did not do his best…. I was and are still not happy because my food was not FRIED PROPERLY and my order...

The second time coming not so great I ordered a platter with haddock and sea scallops my scallops were not cleaned meaning the muscle was not removed yuck and today I decided to come just because I'm in town and I was going to give it another try so I ordered the Cape cod platter what you get two choices of whatever so I ordered haddock and whole clams so she charges me up and I'm like it's supposed to be $19.99 of course tax you know but she's like $23 and some change.. which then got my mind going.. I'm like wait a minute are you really upcharging me four dollars for tax that's ridiculous.. so I go up and I asked her and I'm like yeah what's the up charge for she's like oh it says it right here is $2 extra for clam with the belly.. mind you it's in tiny writing on the board under the whole clam in a green writing which is just not legible.. and then there's a sign that says $300 (not 3.00) and under that tiny print says whole clam then she tells me to take it up with the owner Richard so and so like.. yeah girl they just won't be getting my money again but they're getting this...
Read moreI called and ordered a shrimp and haddock plate. The woman taking my order asked if I the one on the sign. I asked what’s the difference she said that the $11.99 plate comes with less than the $21.00 plate, and the $21.00 plate is double. So I said ok, I’ll go with the $21.00. When I arrived I got my food and peaked in the bag. It had one piece of fish, and about 10 shrimp, and a handful of fries. I knocked on the drivethru window and asked the counter person if there was a mistake with my order because it clearly wasn’t double of the $11.99 plate. The manager came to the window, I showed him my order and he said that’s what you get it weighs however much. As I expressed my dissatisfaction all he kept saying was, you can come in and I’ll refund your money, but in a rude and confrontational manner, as if we were on a city corner. I could’ve literally bought two $11.99 plates and been fine. It’s sad when you’ve gotta leave a unsatisfactory review for a local business in the you live, but I’m not a customer of them anymore I’m not going to give someone my money that treats me as if I’m not paying their bills.
