I do not write many reviews and my husband doesn't write any at all, but he said we had to leave one for our first visit to Signature Kitchen. We were greeted personally by the owner, Genald. He was welcoming, patient, and helpful as we browsed the menu he provided. He smiled and spoke to us, taking time to answer any questions we had. When my husband questioned if the passion fruit juice was made from powder, he had us sample a taste and it was absolutely fresh and tasty. We decided to then order the sour sop juice, which he blended right in front of us and had us taste to see if it was to our liking. A lovely lady came out from the back to also offer assistance to us, she too was friendly and smiling. My husband mentioned that the customer service alone will have him return bc not many Haitian restaurants value service to their patrons. We ordered griot with sweet plantain and lalo with black rice. We also got to sample the Lalo and it was a delicious bite. Let me say, the griot was crispy, not dry, and VERY delicious. The Lalo and rice were also very delicious and there was actual meat with it, not the standard two pieces other restaurants like to give. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our food and it reminded us of my husband's mom's home cooking. We will definitely be back. Especially because they have a rewards programs and we will most definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone. Forget all the other Haitain restaurants, Signature Kitchen has the best tasting food and service...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreService was terrible ā¹ļø I called by phone to place an order, the man apparently has a hard time understanding English on the phone and he gives me the excuse that he can't help me by phone because he has a long line to attend to in the restaurant, I decided to go in person and found that he didn't have many customers there and he is the only one who runs the place and has only one lady who works in the kitchen, I had to wait 35 minutes for my order to be ready, after bad manners he snaps his fingers at me telling me Hey YOU!! The order is ready to go, then he charges me $23 for some turkey in to salty sauce, rice, bean sauce and planting, it was food for only one person, when in other Haitian restaurants I only pay $13 for the same thing and they give me double the food, I do not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy friend Erica and I visited Signature Kitchen for the first time, and from the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like family. The owners, Genald and Marline, are not only amazing hosts but genuinely kind and beautiful people who radiate warmth and hospitality. Genald went above and beyond to introduce us to their delicious offerings by bringing out different samples.
We ordered the black rice, brown rice and beans, Haitian meatballs, and chicken in sauce- all which were absolutely phenomenal. Each bite was bursting with authentic flavor and the packaging was done with the same care as the cooking. Though we had to take our food to go, we'll definitely be...
