Review for Taco Bell Drive-Thru at 675 Belmont St, Brockton, MA 02301

I went through the drive-thru around 2:30 p.m. and unfortunately had the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a fast food restaurant. The employee at the speaker and window (she said her name was “Lo”) rushed me through my order and made the process confusing.

I wanted to order a value box but simply substitute the beef item for chicken since I don’t eat beef. Her immediate response was “no,” delivered so quickly that I felt pressured and unable to clarify. I settled on just ordering a chalupa by itself, even though it cost me more, because I felt rushed and dismissed.

While I was placing my order, she added a bottled water even though I clearly asked for a cup of water—twice. I had to correct her and ask her to modify the order on the screen. Only after she typed it in correctly and I confirmed it did the order finally match what I said. This showed she wasn’t listening, only rushing.

When I reached the window, I mentioned that the interaction felt unnecessary and unpleasant. Her explanation was that she had to get every order through in under three minutes. In her own words, being fast was more important than being nice to customers.

To make things worse, when I opened my food, the chalupa was thrown together carelessly. The shell was falling apart, and the cheese, lettuce, meat, and tomatoes slid right out into the wrapper. There was no attention to detail in how it was prepared, which matched the rushed service at the window.

That summed up the entire experience—speed over accuracy, speed over service, and speed over quality. For that reason, I do not recommend this Taco...

UPDATE: Keep in mind, this branch still struggles with wait times and quality of orders but it HAS gotten better, So it's an improvement. Still sucks when you can't get help to place an order mins after getting in or through but hopefully that can change cuz that is their biggest issue so fair with the community for them. Another not is there dotting around and not focusing at times when it's busiest but most of the workers do and can do there job right so please don't be hard on everyone there for afew people... Thats not fair, still the only other one for miles in brockton so please just try to have patience with them.

TIP OF THE DAY: I would try to order ahead on the app befpre goong is my opinion. (I KNOW I KNOW but trust me it does make it faster and you can make sure that you put how you want it so its a win win And as a bonus AGAIN I KNOWWWW..... But try to go inside if it's open and the line is long SOMETIMES it can be faster then waiting in line BELIEVE ME!!!

Had what I thought was an error in price but it was my mistake afterall (kinda won't bore U all with details) bt surprisingly the young lady behind the counter (the original y.l. that took my order, the one I asked to look at my receipt obv was busy bc she kept telling me the same "answer" bt didn't understand what I was asking yet still very nice) was awesome with her customer service. She was polite & tried to make me understand as well as make me happy. I'll never go back to the other one. Thank you ladies. $15 for 2 ppl at a fast-food place isn't exactly cheap although not crazy either, my point is all customers should be treated with respect as they did tonight! On the flip side I've seen customers act like complete A&&'es & no-one shld have to put up with that, I wouldn't. Food was made as we ordered, no mistakes & store was clean. Overall good. Only reasons not 5 stars is nothing to do with customer service or food it's only bc the last 2 times we've gone in the soda is very watered down. Really not worth getting.
