Daylight Donuts South BA — Restaurant in Broken Arrow

I walked in at 9:30, the drive thru was busy but nobody was waiting at the counter. A young man was taking my order, but the entire time there's this lady rushing around him, so it's no wonder I only get half my order of 10 donuts crammed in a bag. I asked if they were out of boxes, and he said I didn't have enough. I get out to the car and look in my bag, and I'm missing 4 donuts. I go back in an tell the young man what is missing and that i would like all of them in a box. The lady runs over and says I just want them in a box, it's not enough donuts. I said there should have been 4 more donuts and I repeated my order from earlier. She said we don't have those particular donuts, and I said she did, but they had been sold since I left, which was only a few minutes. And that's ok, I ordered 4 other ones. She crams all the donuts she can into the smallest box, and the other 2 into a bag. The whole time she looks like she's about to blow up any second.

I'm a business owner. I understand frustration. I also understand dealing with rude customers. But I can't remember the last time I dealt with a rude business establishment. The lady running this place is overwhelmed, frustrated, and is most likely going to sink this business.

I'm the customer. I visited this establishment almost every week. I waited in lines, I picked whatever donuts were left, I always tipped $5 on a $20 order. But I'm the cause of the frustration, I'm the problem, because without me there's no need to rush, without me there's plenty of donuts.

There's no good mornings, There's no thank you, Just a frown.

So I'm going to do my part to help ease this lady's frustration....

This was the ideal Daylight Donut! In town for a baseball tournament...Walked in and it was super busy but you could not tell as any person that walked up to the case was greeted and helped. I believe I saw the owner come from the back and get his hands dirty. That to me made this experience worth every bit of a 5 star!!! Donuts were flying off the shelf as multiple orders were getting filled at once. The nice lady that helped me with my various choices was a legit memory bank. I threw out a variety pack order and she knocked it out lightning fast. I even requested the jalapeno Kolaches and she informed me that it would be about two minutes and they would bring them to me in the lobby piping hot.. she was accurate with her timing and delivered them with a Bright Smile! If I lived in the area this would be my Place to get donuts!!!! I truly believe that this team has the touch on customer service...I couldn't have had a better experience. Job well done keep up the great work. I WILL visit again on my trips to Broken...

I will not buy from them anymore. We have come here for years and recently they have gone downhill. I was shorted two doughnuts yesterday morning and wanted to get a bear-claw for my daughter. They said they were sold out by 7:30. They said that I should get there early for those. So, to surprise my daughter, I got there at 6:00am when they open. They were late opening at 6:10. When I went in, there were no raised donuts at all and the lady said that’s all they have at the moment. I asked about the bear claws and the guy in the back said about an hour. I said ok I will be back. I was back at 7:00 and still none. After 15 minutes and never any apologies from anyone, I left. I don’t know what happened there but it has gone bad. I usually spend around $25-30 each time but will find another store....
