I usually don’t do reviews but had to give a bad review on Saturday at the other Sonic but wanted to share how well this Sonic did. I placed an order online at the 3208 Elm location showed up about 10 minutes later to pick it up. Checked in and waited, seen they cleared my name so I thought my food was on the way. I waited about five minutes and with past experiences at that Sonic (like around 7 times) I pushed the button and told them who I was and I was there for my order. The lady said oh I’m very sorry we will get that made and be right out. Nope 20 minutes later I’m still waiting and very upset by this time. I wanted a refund they couldn’t give me because I ordered on the app the manager came out very rude talking about I needed to understand that they are short handed and training people. No I get that but that was my second time and almost an hour later that I had to remind them I was there. I got my refund made my order at this Sonic. Read moreI am extremely disappointed in the general manager, Ilene I think, at this location. We have had a string of some of the worst storms in 50 years come through our area back to back. During one of these nights, during a Tornado warning, with active sirens blaring, the store manager forced my daughter to take an order out to a customer that was waiting. A tornado was confirmed on the ground not 5 minutes after this. This tornado could have easily made ground fall directly atop their location rather than later!!! The safety of our children and your employees should come first above ALL OTHER CONSIDERATIONS!!!! I demand that this manager be reprimanded, if not all out terminated, for not keeping the safety of our working children above all else!!!!! On the screen it popped up after a couple minutes said it was being worked on then on its way. we waited approximately 5 minutes when it said it was being worked on. only ordered 2 drinks. pressed the button after it said “thank you for your order” and we got nothing. they said “she just scanned it it will be a few seconds” in the rudest tone ever. and it wasn’t seconds it was minutes. i don’t mind waiting but the rudeness was crazy but wait it gets worse. the car hop came and was so insanely rude with an attitude, she gave the drinks and turned away and didn’t say a word. my dad left a great tip as well on the order. we just moved here and everyone has been so nice except this sonic. my mom was stunned as well after she left. i asked a simple question because i thought our order was given to someone else after waiting for 2 drinks. will never...
