Habaneros Street Tacos offers an elevated taco stand experience that truly impresses. The setup is well thought out, featuring ample shade, a convenient hand-washing station, and an extensive salsa bar. The three large shaded tables provide a welcome respite from the heat, further enhanced by the cooling effect of a wet fan. The menu is clearly presented and easy to navigate, and the ability to pay by card adds a layer of convenience. The use of a buzzer system to notify guests when their order is ready eliminates the need for calling out numbers, contributing to a more relaxed dining environment.
My meal was served promptly. For my first visit, I opted for the classics—chorizo and al pastor tacos. I was particularly excited to try the chile de árbol salsa, reminiscent of the flavors from my hometown in Jalisco. I’m glad I restrained myself to just four tacos, as they were generously portioned. The al pastor tacos were exceptional, especially when paired with the red salsa, offering a perfect balance of flavors. The chorizo tacos, while different from what I’m accustomed to, still delivered good flavor, with the salsa enhancing the overall taste.
In summary, Habaneros Street Tacos provides an excellent dining experience, one that I look forward to revisiting. The quality of both the service and the cuisine is commendable, earning this establishment a well-deserved place among the top 10 dining destinations in Tulsa and the surrounding metro...
Read moreI was excited to hear there was a taco stop in BA and they did not disappoint...the service was beyond friendly and quickly made right what was missed on the order. We had the taco combo with asada. Additionally we also ordered tripa, cabeza and birria taco. My favorite from all three was the asada and tripa taco, I even had to order another tripa taco. It was that good, but ask for it crispy without the cilantro and onion on top and go for your own toppings instead. (I probably would do that for any of the tacos ) They have a cool condiment salsa bar that offer an array of pico de gallo, tomatillo salsa, avocado salsa, red and green chile with fresh cut radishes, cucumbers, pickled carrots and jalapeños. The only feed back would be is to leave off all the cilantro and onion off the tacos so you get the full flavor of the taco. I appreciated that it was all fresh and delicious 😋 I definitely will go back and try some of the other menu items. Also a side note I thought their Horchata was the best version of what a Mexican horchata should taste like, it reminded me of...
Read moreI’ve tried many taco trucks in the Greater Tulsa Area, and Habaneros is the best by a mile of any I’ve tried. Their portions are heavy, and everything I’ve had is well seasoned and exceptionally prepared. I’ve ordered their chicken, shrimp, and cabeza (beef cheek) tacos, their barria tacos, quesadilla, queso and have had their refried beans and rice.
Starting with their sides, the beans and rice are well seasoned and taste great. Most places have beans and rice that are bland and an absolute afterthought, not here. Their queso is made from white cheese and is seasoned and delicious.
Their meats are excellently prepared, juicy, and tender. The barria tacos are in a league of their own. Huge portions, tender, juicy, cheesy deliciousness.
Their side peppers are Serranos so you can kick the heat up if you want to.
They have a salsa bar with a great variety of red, green, and roasted salsas as well as guacamole, and a hand washing station as...
