My experience this evening at the KFC near East 61st St South and Garnett in Broken Arrow, Ok was marred by a complete lack of the concept of customer service, and by most food items (original recipe dark meat) being not available. Get that man a hearing aid, some common civility and a refresher course on how to provide the paying customer (1 what they ordered and 2) a cooperative attitude. He said he is the manager. No one was manning the speaker so I ordered from the window. I wanted a combo ( I had a coupon) and your sign said I can upgrade any combo for $1.00 and get an extra side. And my order was a 2-piece dark meat, both thighs, original recipe, with cole slaw for the extra side. He said he wouldn’t have any original for 20 minutes, ( talk about poor planning), so I told him I would take the extra crispy, and reiterated that I wanted dark meat. He said “do you want this coupon or that combo?” I didn’t understand and said the coupon said it was a combo and I wanted to pay $1 for the extra side. His response: do you want this coupon or that combo, and kept repeating that without elaborating. I finally gave up getting any information from him, and told him “ I don’t care, just charge me what you need to for my order.” I gave him my credit card and he rang up some amount. I checked my order only to find that it was a breast and a wing ( which I hate). I said “oh, this isn’t what I ordered” and he shouted Yes it is! I asked if the store had CCTV/video so he could go hear what I had said. No answer to that, he is adamant and belligerent and claims he “did me a favor” (?) and yelled at me to “Get out of my drive through!” I said he needed to give me back my credit card or I was calling the police. He kept screaming and screaming, but did give me my credit card. Then HE said HE was calling the police!! There was no one in line, no other customers anywhere, but as soon as I put my card into my wallet, I was VERY GLAD to leave. He yelled after me “Don’t ever come back here!!”, sticking his head out of the window like a maniac. It was, frankly, quite frightening. I was afraid for him to see my car tag, as he already had my personal info from my credit card, as I thought he might come after me. I am a 71 year old woman, a disabled veteran, and have NEVER had a business treat me that way. Could the owner of this store please contact me so that I can know what action is being taken? That man should be taken out of any position that puts him in contact...
Read moreThis is quite possibly the single worst place to eat in the entire city. Told one of the idiots behind the counter NO coleslaw on my chicken fried steak dinner. He put coleslaw in, then scooped it out, then put my containers in the bag sideways. I got home to nasty coleslaw juice covering my ENTIRE 2 dinners. Unbelievable. Literally 10 seconds after I tell him, he scoops a big ol' heaping helping of coleslaw right on in. I guess the prerequisite for working here is a single digit IQ. Never going to this one AGAIN, but the one on Memorial is about as bad due to the horribly mean old hag that runs the drive-thru most of the time. Good job, KFC. The Colonel would demolish your buildings and take your friers. The one star is only because you have to rate it...
Read moreThis location surely can't be any worse than their location on 71st in Broken Arrow ?? 99% of their staff can't speak English. Orders are messed up half the time. Last time I went there was about 1 1/2 hours b 4 closing & chicken was dry, tasted like it had been cooked for hours, coleslaw was dry and looked like it was old too plus person at the window had a frown, no "how r u this eve" or anything other than how much I owed and NO "thank you" when all was done. KFC better start getting better managers who are trained properly or they'll soon go out of business for lack of revenue. I'm now going to Church's Chicken as their food AND service are excellent or Canes chicken strips. KFC has lost my...
