Taco Bueno — Restaurant in Tulsa

Yesterday my wife and I had an absolutely horrid visit to this location. We entered and ordered what we usually do: my wife the taco platter and a 20 oz drink and myself a Muchaco Combo (#1) which comes with a 20 oz drink and an extra burrito. The girl at the register asked me if I wanted a medium or a large drink and I said that it came with a 20 oz drink and I wanted that. For some reason she appeared to take a huge offense to my answer for some reason. After that I requested a Veteran Discount after showing my VA card, which took 20% off the total, bring it to $18 and some change.

What we didn't know at the time is that the girl immediately had cleared our order, which had deleted it before it could be made. I guess my shutting her upsale down really upset her. We waited for over 10 orders past our number before inquiring about ours. My wife went up front as I would have caused a scene. As we did not get our food, she requested a refund, which she got in cash, but the staff made our food anyways. When the food was brought out to us, the girl apologized and I requested to speak with a manager. That manager never arrived. In addition my extra burrito was not in our order.

I love Bueno, today not so much do to customer service! I ordered a muchaco with no meat as I don’t eat meat the lady that took my order said with no beans? I said no and said meat and spelled it out to help her understand what I was saying, because a lot of times they have issues with the speaker! She seriously said in a rude way … I understand English! When I pulled up to the window I told the girl that was cashing me out what happened she laughed and said we didn’t understand?! I thought you understand English?! She didn’t really wanna hear what I was telling her! Very rude! So I pull off and call them and ask to speak to a manager … she hung up on me! Unbelievable is that how you treat paying customers? I left a message for the corporates office! It takes a lot for me to say something because I know how stressful it can get in customer service since I work in customer service! I would never dare to approach a customer like that! So guess what? You just lost a customer and I will let everyone know that I know what shitty customer service you provide and are ok with it! I ll be going across the street to Catrina...

Not a good experience. I wanted to try Taco Bueno crunchy tacos because I love Taco Bells crunchy tacos but Taco Bell doesn't put enough beef on their tacos. So first issue was driving through the parking lot. It was the bumpiest drive. I think they have lots of pot holes. Then I went through the drive through. I ordered 3 crunchy tacos and a medium Coke. There were 3 cars ahead of me and it took forever for each car to get their food. The bad part is you can't drive off once you are in the drive through, there are no escape routes. I received my food and a really big coke. I pulled out the tacos thinking these must be really good. I noticed 3 things, the tacos were bigger than Taco Bells tacos, there was more beef and the beef had little color to it. Suggesting to me there was not much seasoning. I took a bite and I was correct, the tacos were flavorless. Just salty. I put their hot sauce on and it was also without any depth of flavor. Then I took a sip of my coke and that was the last straw.
