RibCrib BBQ — Restaurant in Broken Arrow

First time ordering and eating at Rib crib, and I’m not impressed. we did a GrubHub order and I’m not sure if this is the standard when it comes to the meat but it seem like we got more with the sides then the main dish I ordered the two meat meal with two sides, I got a rib and a half and some turkey. I thought that was pretty skimpy on the meat, a rib and a half for a $24 plate of food. The ribs were tough and very dry. Not dry rub dry, So dry that the barbecue sauce couldn’t rehydrate it. The mashed potatoes and green beans were really good. My son got a cheeseburger and loved it, we ordered a side of french fries with it, didn’t get the french fries. Husband got the three meat meal and it was skinny on the meat as well. I felt like they were trying to hoard the meat. He wasn’t a fan of the mac & cheese, but overall he like everything else he got

I get they are busy, but I really don’t think that’s a fair. Excuse to be so skimpy on the meat and forget french fries.

I think I’m gonna stick with Oklahoma Joe’s’s from now on, but my husband did say that if we didn’t have an Oklahoma Joe’s here, this would be a good place to get BBQ as long as your not getting ribs. I don’t think we’ll be returning.

I will say the staff was nice and helpful when I called them to ask for suggestions. Between the good sides, the good hamburger, husband’s meal, pretty good and the staff I gave...

Placed an order via phone for carry out and the first thing they told me when answering was that they are currently out of ribs and brisket. I said that is fine i don't want that anyway. So i placed my order for two super spuds with pulled pork and they told me it was gonna be ready in 20 mins. I drove 20 mins to get my food for pick up. At the front register they asked me my name and i told them i was picking up for Leah. The workers mouth dropped out and he acted shocked. I said "what is wrong"? and they explained they are out of pulled pork. Then proceeded to tell me a list of other meats as in hot links. Don't know how that is even similar but ok. How are you out of 3 different kids of meats on a sunday at 6pm? Would have been nice to be called as soon as they found out and explain the situation instead of me wasting my time. They also didn't feel the need to compensate me with anything. Thanks for nothing! This all happened on 11/05/2023. I also witnessed a whole family walk in the same time as me and after talking to the front they walked right out. Maybe they just wanted to leave early and not have any costumers for the night? We stopped here for lunch 7-4-24 at around 1:45pm. It wasn’t terribly crowded but was fairly busy. The young lady who was our waitress was a young girl with long dark hair, up in a ponytail and was wearing a grey/red Rib Crib shirt. She never introduced herself. Came and took our order and hurried away. She brought our drinks. We needed refills and she never came back to check but walked by several times. She stood behind a desk thing and was on her phone. Had to ask another server for refill help. A runner brought our food. We never saw our waitress again. The server who got our refill finally saw us sitting there and asked if we were interested in desert. We declined and she brought our check. We put our card with the check out and NOBODY came to check us out. After about ten minutes we went to the front to see if we could just check out there. We explained our situation to them.
