Berkshire on Main — Local services in Broken Arrow

I prefer to give 5 starts to the businesses I try but I can’t in good conscience do that with Berkshire. My husband and I went in to have a 30 minute reflexology done on our feet. The health benefits of this had us curious so we thought, why not? When I made the appointment the receptionist suggested it is commonly done on both the hands and feet rather than just the feet. We agreed to have this instead. Each one of our massage therapists were great. Although my husband’s therapist did just his feet he had no problem with that. Now I understand that this is on the famous Rose District so a bit upscale ….but we were floored at what they charged. Our total for 30 minutes each of reflexology was $182 not including the tip. Broke down we were each charged a $66 fee for “30 minute signature massage” plus an additional $25 “reflexology” fee. When I asked about this the receptionist stated it was because reflexology is considered an extra. That is $91 for 30 minutes! No body massage, just feet and hand for 30 minutes. A whole hour massage at the same place months back cost me $84. My suggestion is ask up front about extra charges. Looking back I should of just stated a foot massage…there isn’t much of a difference and there wouldn’t of been the tacked on fee all because I said the word...

The spa is very lovely and comfortable. Brandy is so great at her craft. I was amazed at how it seemed she knew my body better than I do. I could feel the muscles loosening. When she would finish one side I could feel a huge difference from the side that she hadn’t worked yet. I have never had such a thorough massage. I have a range of motion leaving that I haven’t had in awhile. I am going to have to find a way to go back to her more often. My only gripe is I thought I had also booked a facial when I booked online but it didn’t show on their system. No biggie, but I was a little confused with the online booking system. I just finished getting a massage and facial at Berkshire on Main in downtown Broken Arrow. I first met Katrina at the reception desk who was very friendly and welcoming!! After I was shown where to put my belonging in a locker, I then sat in a steam room for a bit. I was then met by Kelly who gave me a massage that was SO relaxing that I was thinking I might melt into a puddle!!! Kelly’s massage was perfect in every way!! She concentrated on my upper back to alleviate those knots and tight muscles that were bothering me. I then moved on to a wonderful facial by Angie. Again, VERY relaxing and I LOVED the products she used!!! I not only had a relaxing facial but she also gave me a scalp massage and hand treatment!!! The entire experience was top notch!!!
