Jimano's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Brookfield

UPDATE 4/23: We finally got around to trying Jimano's pizza again 2 months later for their 50% off Wednesdays promotion. Luckily the pizza was much better and cooked correctly with lots of topping. The thin crust was great and the pizza itself was very flavorful, but it ended up being luke warm...

This was due to the delivery which was an absolute joke. We live less than 5 mins away from this location, a subdivision slightly north of the restaurant itself. We have never had a problem with Amazon, Kroger, Costco, or even Dominos delivering to our house, but for some reason Jimanos finds it extremely difficult for the second time. We watched the delivery driver go to three of our neighbors houses, incorrectly, for a few mins at a time before coming to our house while we were standing on the porch waving him down. I do not understand the confusion. Our house, and everyone in our subdivision has the address clearly labeled above our garages, and google maps leads directly to our driveway... it makes no sense to me how this is not an easy delivery. I wish I could take back my tip. For this reason my overall rating goes down to 2 stars with two bad experiences in a row.

The pizza is pretty good, but I would never reccomend ordering delivery from this location.

ORIGINAL (2/25): A new pizza restaurant 5 mins away from home... we really wanted to love this place given the glowing reviews, but it ended up falling short. First off we were looking forward to the supreme pizza, but all of the pizzas with italian sausage were showing out of stock, so they must have ran out. No problem, things happen, so we ordered the pepperoni deluxe for delivery instead.

When it arrived, I opened the box to see a pretty well done pizza. The cheese was very dark and the pizza was obviously overdone. It did not look anything like the other photos we had seen. The taste was decent but nothing better than other pizza places in the area, while charging close to double the price.

I'd like to think that maybe it was an off day since it took much longer to arrive than estimated, and they were sold out of about half of their offerings, but I was not impressed with what we received given the price tag. Updated review: Now having ordered a carry-out pizza I'm even more impressed. The time to prepare it was good, but seeing it steaming when I carried it out in 86 degree weather is impressive. Upon second tasting I very much like the great sausage topping.

Upon first order I believe I've found a new favorite pizza delivery in Brookfield. There are several "pretty good" places in the area, each having their own flavor and most having good service. However after ordering an 18" double dough crust Cheese, Sausage, Mushroom & Onion. Having VERY prompt phone and delivery service, pizza delivered in approx 45 minutes. These were all good signs- opening the box to reveal what looked a perfectly cooked, uniform distribution of toppings as well as golden browning of the cheese/toppings looked great.

The taste didn't disappoint at all! The sausage was of medium hot/spicy, while I prefer a little more spicy I can add red peppers- the sausage used should be enjoyable to people with all tastes. Likewise, afterward it did not leave me feeling thirsty which seems most often caused by spicy sausage.

Edit: The owner called to apologize for the misunderstanding and was incredibly kind. While the original experience was a bit frustrating, the response of the owner more than made up for it. I genuinely appreciate it!

I love Jimano’s pizza, and have ordered it several times since they opened. I had a frustrating experience with their app, today, where there was no indication my pizza was (no contact) delivered. The app indicated that the pizza was still being made over an hour and a half after I’d ordered it, and when I called they said the pizza had already been delivered. Which it had. With no text or change in status on the app, the pizza sat outside for an unknown length of time. So I paid for a cold pizza that I didn’t eat until nearly two hours after the order had been placed.
